Superb hike!

Did this route several times. Can start at beginning of Mala Paklenica in Seline or at beginning of Velika Paklenica out of Starigrad. There are parking lots at both entrances. If you come without a car, add an additional distance from bus stops in Seline or Starigrad. In that case you also do not have to loop back fully, as you do not have to pick up your car in the other entrance's parking lot, just go straight down towards the main road and get to the closest bus stop.

Half-day tour by attractive trails throught forestsa and with numerous view-points. A visit to two peak was also included - Sokolovac (252m) and Knjezica (263m). You can reach the start and end of the trail by city transport or car (there is plenty of parking space available), and at these points you can also find doctor, post office and shops there. Suitable for the whole family and pets in all seasons. Also for cyclists and trail runners.

Did this during one of the hottest days in the summer of 2015. Started very early, the path is nice and shaded until one is high up, where it is cool at that altitude. For some reason there were an insane number of bugs on the peak of Sveto brdo that year. Not sure why. Minimal bugs on the way there. A relatively easy walk, just very, very long, 12+ hours from Stariigrad (I did not have car to get to national park, had to walk there and back).

Did this during a heat wave in the summer of 2015. Left Starigrad before 4 am, was by Planinski dom around 6 am, sunrise on Bukova staza, latter was somewhat overgrown with tall grass due to obvious rare use, so had to search for signs at times, especially after getting up above the steeper and partially forested part onto the field nearer to the top, as trail signs were on stones hidden by tall grass. On top of the mountain it was much cooler than by the sea. Returning via Lipa staza, latter is very exposed to the sun in its upper portion, again had to search for signs in forested lower portion of Lipa staza. It took me 14 hours, including the hike all the way to Starigrad (did not have car to Paklenica entrance). Of this, subtract 1-2 hours for searching for trail signs on the way.
