Very nice hike in the Bamboo grove. It is a hard one though and the trail is not always obvious and easy to follow. Highly recommended!

This was the first backpacking trip I ever did in 2012 and it’s still a great memory.

Very steep sometimes. Well paved. Lots of steps. Excellent views.

First part can be difficult due to muddiness especially if it’s been raining. The hike is best and the views become most epic from the Tea Horse Guest House onwards. Can be done in one day without much issue, in contrast to most advice given.

Best hike I've ever done, though I need to do more! Was not crowded in February and the conditions were pretty nice. Read the wiki travel page for instructions.

My suggestion would be to stay over night on top and do the southern section including Lotus Peak after 4pm when all of the people leave. Morning get to the cannon in the north west and do the Fly Rock trail fewer people.

This is one of the most famous hiking areas in China (so I've been told) and it was absolutely breathtaking! We took a tour bus to the area and then a tram near the summit. There are thousands of concrete stair steps on all of the trails and a very long and incredible concrete walkway situated along the side of the mountain. We stayed the night in a hut-type lodge and woke up early in the morning to catch the sunrise. If ever in China, make an attempt to get to this location and spend the day sightseeing and hiking!

One of the world's best hikes. A little something for everybody, with waterfalls, lakes, trees, and beautiful scenery at every turn. Buses traverse the park for the faint of heart. Best time to come is the fall when the leaves are changing colors.
