Pleasant path, quite humid for the region, regular elevations during most of the journey. on the descent, 3/4 of the base, there is a viewpoint overlooking the coast (Zapallar and Cachagua).

Located in Parque Natural Aguas de Ramón: a nice short loop trail with fantastic views of Santiago. This parque actually offers 3 loop options (see photo: we took the medium-sized blue path). We walked in the direction of South Face, looping back along the North Face trail. First kilometer has much of the elevation gain and levels off for the rest of the hike. Coming back down the North Face trail seemed a more gradual grade change. Saturday afternoon in September; already a lot of sun and very little shade along most of the route. Bring lots of water and hat! I’d rate as moderate.

A nice little hike, steep hill to get to the waterfall. We did it in the rain so the path was very muddy, messy and slippery but still a very beautiful waterfall to see.

Incredible stroll. Ensure you get to the end to view the crater. Take in the history/mystery of fhe Island.

Phenomenal

This is a beauty of a walk & intake of history. Aside from thd small incline to see the Moai, there are occasional steps that go further up to view some Moai still half carved into the mountain.

Very nice walk to the waterfalls with views of the volcano. Very easy and quick to do. Worth the detour !

Absolutely stunning - multiple little lakes at the top - all different - very remote - the views on different sides of the ridge are absolutely breathtaking and all very different - went through multiple patches of diverse vegetation - climate can change on a dime - be prepared - lots of wind in some areas - one of the most beautiful hikes I have done in my life.

Nice trail for the beginner hiker. It is a trail that ends at a nice overview of the valley you just climbed out of. The good thing is that you register yourself at the administration, you let them know what trail you are taking so in case of an emergency they know where to look. When you are finished you register this again and you are safe and sound :)

Very entertaining way, at first it is a gentle walk, until you start to climb the hill, where it is practically pure climb and climb rocks. However, the effort is worth it when you reach the summit where the sanctuary of the cedars is and you can know the history that gave rise to it. Highly recommended but tiresome when there is a lot of sun, ideal to go in the morning.

Path not always well indicated and in full sun. Bring plenty of water or a picnic to take a well-deserved break at the top. Relatively easy hike, very accessible when you're in no hurry!

I only managed to get 2/3 of the way up as the last part was too steep for someone who has a fear of heights. My husband went all the way to the top and said it was extremely windy but amazing view.

1/3/2019 Amazing hike! Video’d a pretty big avalanche on the way up! It was far away so it didn’t scare us, but it was awesome to witness a real avalanche. The W-Trek is a great adventure for all ages with good knees and hips! Bring a rain jacket/pants & wind breaker, beanie & water proof gloves. Used it all on these trails...like everyone says here, you experience 4 seasons in 1 day, no joke! And if you don’t know already, IT’S SUPER WINDY HERE! A buff is another great item to have handy.

Great views of the Fitz Roy peak and El Chalten town for a relatively short hike. The trail is mostly sandy with relatively quick elevation gain but is clear and easy to walk and follow. We only went to the Mirador Condores and not Aguilas. The summit was quite windy. This would be a great place for sunrise photos as the peaks appear warm and coppery; sunset is backlit but also fun to watch as the shadows lengthen across the town. We also drove to the information center at the foot of the hill near midnight to watch the stars since there is less light pollution than in town.

Extremely windy walk along the Grey Lake beach. You get a great view of a piece of calved glacier sitting relative close to shore while the Grey Glacier is very distantly in the background. If you walk to the eastern edge of the trail before it turns north, this is where the glacial ice gets washed ashore - you can pick up pieces on the beach. Just don’t get blown away!! FYI, the trail head is at the end of the road, not at the Lago Grey hotel that is under development. There is a nice cafe at both the hotel-to-be, as well as at the trail head.

Fantastic hike with amazing views along the way! We had great weather (dry, sunny, chilly) but it was super windy along the top and was quite dangerous at times. We extended this route to make longer when other connecting trails became clear. Would highly recommend, not too difficult but some challenging ascents that are worth the climb!!

Very steep climb to top of ridge essentially without switchbacks. view of the Paine Massif from the top is extraordinary. also great views into the Patagonia icefield. i don't know how it got labeled as an "Easy" hike. It's not. it's short, but the climb up is hard. Totally worth it, though.

Amazing and do able in 8 hours with loads of photo stops and lunch

Sick as hell!!!
