Great hike with beautiful scenery - particularly further up the trail including 1st lookout at about 1050 meters. Previous posts might have noted that it is quite muddy so make sure you wear your gaiters. We were fortunate to have sunny weather - would not recommend in wet weather.

A nice little hike, steep hill to get to the waterfall. We did it in the rain so the path was very muddy, messy and slippery but still a very beautiful waterfall to see.

We took the trail from the market map. The map starts you at the parking lot for a 4 x 4 off-road trail to go up the mountain. We would not recommend starting here. On the way up take the Y to the right towards the ski lift. Once you get to the base the ski lift start your hike there go straight towards the top of the mountain. 20-60% grade. Hope your ready!

Amazing and do able in 8 hours with loads of photo stops and lunch

Sick as hell!!!

Amazing trail. The last viewpoint gives a panoramic view over the lake Conguillio. I highly recommande it.

A fantastic experience. It can be very crowded and slow climbing as it is full of tourists. The climb is a fun challenge but by no means difficult. Most ascents are done with a local tour guides that will rent equipment and blaze the trail. I did not give it 5 stars because of the crowd. For a more authentic mountain experience I recommend one of the several other options around.

Amazing trail! Most beautiful and prehistoric forest in the world. Picturesque lakes, and valcanoes throughout the region. Plenty of cabins, camping, hiking and mountain biking. Don't forget to stop by El Lago Arcoiris. You will need to spend a couple of days here to experience it all. El Volcan Llaima is nearby but you will need a couple of days to summit that one.

Real beautiful hike ! Realy touristic in the summer. Hundreds of peoples hiking at the same time and you can only stay 10 minutes at the top. Can't do it in solo, it is mandatory to have a tour guide. It is a moderate hike if you are in good shape, the walking speed is real slow, no cardio only legs are working. I Realy enjoy it

Real beautiful hike with nice vegetation and spectacular 360° view of something like 8 volcanos ! It is a 8h hike in total but if you are in shape it is less. It take me 3 hours to go to the top without break and a good speed.

An excellent day on the trail with beautiful views.

Nice walk trough the forest, beautiful views doable in 4 hours.
