The trail gives a good workout with the steady ascent to above the tree line. We chose the left at the fork that goes down to Bonneville Lakes. There is a small section that is muddy and wet from a wellspring that flows across that section. Beautiful views of the Lakes and mountains adorned with bright yellow colours of Poplars. We reached the endpoint of the trail on the south end of the Lake and doubled back to the point where there should be a trail that traverses the side of the mountain. we found none and we bushwhacked to a point that is a 3rd way up this steep mountain slope. we had to make our way up to the top without any sign of a trail until we reached the top where we eventually found the trail that led us back to the trail head.

Beautiful views of Whitehorse and surrounding mountains. Went looking for the cave after reaching the summit and found it however we did some bushwhacking on the way, with steep sections as well. Overall it was a good hike on a very fine day

Great loop trails for after work, if you're short on time, or just want a hike close to town. Trail is in good shape and winds up and down through mixed forest with some views along the way.

Great trial with beautiful views of Whitehorse and surrounding area. Sections were extremely muddy, the 3.7 mile section leading to the ATV trail is all loose rock.

Walked up the black diamond bike trails (Easy Money, Money Shot) from the parking lot to the summit. You can see them marked (or on Trailforks, the Mtb app). Just keep an ear out for people flying down the trail. We didn’t see anyone. Strenuous hike up with 1000ft of elevation over about 1.5mi. Views from the top were awesome, but slightly obscured by smoke from forest fires. Still worth the climb. Be sure to stick to the main trail to the radio tower on descent. We tried an offshoot that terminated in an impassable, mosquito-ridden pond after 25mins of descent. Had to retrace almost back to summit. Walked down service road back to lot. Great hike though. Legs are on fire!!!

We did the trail on 6/27/2019. Once we reached the top, we took left to start the loop. At the last "summit" (the highest), the trail becomes invisible, not maintained and we had to go through the bushes to reach the lake. The views at the top were fantastic. Would not recommend for children and people with bad knees as it's very steep. However, if you reach the top and go back, can be done by anyone.

You definitely need a decent vehicle with good clearance to get up to the radio tower parking. If not, park about 2.5 km down. You will notice a large parking area. The road noticeably changes for the worse at this point. You really can’t miss it. Once there, it is a beautiful walk. Not too difficult at all. The view is amazing. Make sure you do not miss doing this if you are in Whitehorse.

Nice trail, we took our two young children with us and besides the muddy conditions we all had a great time. Spectacular views once tou get to the top.

Did this hike June 12, 2019. Wildflowers were pretty, but not all blooming yet. Drove up in jeep and glad to have 4WD. The trail was mostly soft earth, with roots and occasional rain puddles. Not at all slippery. There were some narrow spots on the rocky tops. Good handholds though. Gorgeous scenery. Loved looking down at the valleys each side seeing the rain move around.
