Mount Seymour hike was a great but technical hike. Make sure you take comfortable shoes that don’t slip your feet will ache by the end of the hike. Take bug spray. They were everywhere. Great views through out the entire hike. The last peak is worth every drop of sweat.

Amazing views at the top overlooking Canmore on one side and a mountain range on the other. Wide and easy to follow trail. It gets busy (especially on weekends) after 10 a.m. We started this hike at 7:50 a.m. and saw only one other person in the parking lot and on the trail. We were alone at the top at 9:15 a.m. On the way down there were many groups of people on their way up. The hike took a total of 3 hours not including stopping at the top.

great hike the views at ink pots in the valley are spectacular. would like to try the hike from moose meadows instead of Johnston canyon as Johnston canyon is ridiculously over packed with people and iut takes away from the enjoyment.

My friend and I hiked this with our 3 kids (ages 9, 10 and 11) we did the round trip loop. Took about 5 hours and registered 16.8kms. Views are stunning! Minus the hail storm... will definitely be doing this hike again

i hiked this solo in about 3.5 hours. amazing views. a varied trail that challenged me physically on the ascent, and offered beautiful terrain and vistas. got caught in a thunderstorm at Prairie View trail after i summitted & descended a ways, but it passed over with only a bit of rain, but still a wonderful hike. recommend!

We arrived at the trailhead at 8:00 and there wasn’t that many people there yet - maybe 30 cars in the P1 lot. Hardly anyone on the trail at that time and we had the cave area just below the upper falls all to ourselves for about 15 min. By the time we made it to upper falls, the trail was jammed. Like others have pointed out, highly recommend starting as early as you can. Beautiful hike and the cave area is awesome.

The trail is beautiful, it takes 2h to get to the peak, the peak is 360 view with picnic tables, the only down side and reason i give 4 stars, you have like a small electric central at the peak but still a nice view!

Quite flat, easy trail

Rated this hike low due to the annoying flies that bit & followed us the whole way even though we doused ourselves with bug spray. Nice lake views. Would be better to do in the spring or fall. I like shaded trails & this trail is open.

Amazing! There’s 3 lakes, the first is a very easy 10 min walk, the second is a pretty tough hour up hill (but so worth it) from there it’s another 15 to the waterfall then about 20 to the last lake. Overall, you spend 3 to 4 hours there. You can also swim & there’s a log to walkout on the second lake. Moderate to intermediate and about 14k round trip.

Sketchy AF!!!! There is a board walk style part of his trail that is missing tons of boards with massive nails sticking up !! Dog poop every where on the trail too !!! The bridges were scary dangerous . This trail is extremely un kept !! I will never never come back her again !!

Nice stop off of the side of the road if you’re looking for a quick hike. Not as spectacular as the paint pots in Banff but it was nice to see the different color clay soil.

Great trail. Great views. Highly recommended.

Fish Lake Loop is fantastic up to the summit, with a nice view of the surrounding valleys, peaks, and lakes. The hike starts a bit steep but has several forgiving flat stretches and there's a nice breeze up on the ridge. Everything behind the final ridge is worth skipping - the descent is a bit too steep and overgrown, and the view in the far valley isn't worth the extra time it takes to get there. 4 stars if you only go to the summit and loop back from there - that part is definitely worth it.

A beautiful hike no matter what time of year with amazing views!

June 30/18 - took the summer trail up, winter trail down. There was still avalanche debris on the summer trail when we were there. Otherwise Trail is clear and dry. Busy trail on the weekends! Great view at the lake. Nice place to stop for lunch.

Good wide easy trail for walking, running, rollerblading, biking- just about anything - I saw no horses
Beach all the way along path, which continues into Burlington.
If you are lucky, you will get to see lift Bridge in action - awesome

Way to up is better than way down. Views are amazing!

Fabulous hike. Got above morning cloud cover to see epic views. No bugs. Did it July 18th.

The tablelands portion was beautiful with great views of the surrounding area. Not a lot of traffic on this trail either compared to some of the others so the solitude was nice. The second mile to mile and a half is fairly narrow and muddy with a lot of vegetation overhanging the trail. Some of it was either hogweed or cow parsnip so keep an eye out for it and steer clear. I wouldn’t go out of my way to do this trail again but it definitely was a nice time and had its moments. If I could skip ahead to the tablelands portion somehow I’d probably rate it higher

Amazing woodlot, lots to see and so many hiking and biking trails. If you want to see some unique landscape with a easy to moderate trail (moderate due to the length of trails and connection to other trails) Ive heard porcupines and coyotes here, seen tree frogs, spring peepers, deer and foxes. biting bugs can be VERY BAD in the spring. Bug spray wont do anything to stop the clouds of mosquitos. So if you dont like getting bit, wait until bug season is pretty well over or go on a day thats cool and rainy.

Pretty easy trail, went to a more un used entry point. Lovely escarpment trail with a lovely bio diversity

Pretty easy trail, good for hiking and connects to many other tracks in the woods. Hunting is permitted during hunting season.
Some good birdwatching, not the best. Some nice species such as pileated wood peckers, wood thrush and a variety of warblers. The occasional least and american bitterns as well as pie billed grebes in the marshes.

Great easy trail with wide pathways if you have a larger group. The overall hike was short but if you prefer waterfalls then it's a great place to go.

More people than a mall at Christmas

Love this park. Spectacular views and each visit is unique. My dog loves it.

Love this hike. A steady climb up, there is quite a bit of snow on the trail. If you stay on the packed trail you should be ok. We just hiked to the lake which is still frozen but still stunning. It will start to get muddy with the melt.

The trail is very easy to follow and anyone who hikes often could do it easily. The lake is beautiful but if you continue on the trail to the meadow it has a stunning panoramic view of the mountains. Overall a great hike, not too long (about 4 hours round trip) and a beautiful payoff.

Beautiful hike! Trail is well marked and the steepest section is in the first 45 minutes. Once my friends and I got to the scramble we were confused as to which side to climb up. My friends took the left side (small crack about a foot in size) and I found the trackers on the right side. You do need to be extremely careful when climbing both sides. Also take extra time going down as it is very steep. Took my friends and I 2 hours up and about 2.5 hrs down. Bring bug spray or else you’ll be swarmed by mosquitoes!
