Nice little trail. I was not blown away by the lookouts. Pretty this time of year with many colourful leaves on the ground.

Loved this trail! About a 1km walk into the trailhead, but easy to find if you read the description for the hike here. The trail was relatively dry today with a bit of snow near the top. Spikes could be beneficial but definitely not necessary. It was windy at times but not as bad as some hikes I’ve done. Was super dog friendly as well! Took us about 3.5 hours round trip at a steady pace with frequent small breaks. Beautiful views, a bit technical at the top but definitely wouldn’t call it a scramble. Just some rocks to climb over towards the top, pretty typical for a mountain summit. Have fun!

Beautiful fall hike - lots of places to pause and enjoy surroundings. I’m not sure I’d rate this one moderate- We found it to be one of the easier hikes - not quite a stroll in the woods, though - still some roots and rocks to watch your footing on in some places.

Gorgeous views and hardly any people!

We brought along cleats but didn’t use them. Snow and ice mostly gone but a few spots with ice and tricky footing. Great hike with awesome views. Only downside is you can hear the interstate in the distance. Not a big deal.

Great trail conditions overall. Was a little icy at the beginning of the trail for only 1-3kms. Good out and back with a couple views along the way.

You have to be very careful of roots and rocks. It has lovely scenery and many places to take pictures. We take our 13 yr. old dog and he keeps a faster pace than mom.

My father had a camp on Granite Lake in the fifties and I finally got to see the lake. Awesome day. I was surprised and delighted at the number of hikers. Took longer than expected to hike in and out. Steady walk with three rest stops and several brief conversations took five hours. Only 9.4 km but all up and down with feet firmly planted due to the terrain.

This is a great trail. It can be totally relaxing or if you want to get your heart rate up you can move a little quicker over the hilly terrain. It's kid/dog friendly and the scenery is beautiful. We feel blessed to live only 10 minutes away.

Great walking trail in Kanata. Multiple paths are available so you can make it as short or long as you want

It was a fairly easy to moderate hike, has a few cut through trails if you want to shorten it. Beautiful gorge, a lot of hiking alongside the river which is always a bonus! I did it with my dog fine but he's good with rocks and inclines/declines which this trail had a lot of all 3. Today certain parts were a little slick probably due to recent rain.

Was a nice hike, I agree take the yellow trail. We had the summit to ourselves and only came across three other groups.

Easy paved pathway with beautiful views!

Easy but awesome

Can be hard to follow alote of off shoots

This trail is very wet at the moment but remains enjoyable. One of my favourites within Sudbury!

A very pleasant trail that winds its way through the heavily forested property of Wheeler’s Sugar Camp. The tube lines that transport the maple sap are found everywhere but do not take away from the otherwise untouched beauty of this backwoods terrain in the Lanark Highlands.

Great hile to do with your dog (permitted in most of the trails) or your kids. It is easy enough to do with young kids, but be careful in the fall it might be very muddy, wear good hiking boots. The view on top is quite impressive too.

Beautiful climb the view is worth it. We were the only ones on the track and it's perfect for those seeking tranquility.

Superb hike, very quiet we met few hikers, I would say between easy and moderate for casual hikers, beautiful viewpoint. The map has helped us a lot!

Nice trail and the view was worth it. Trail was in very good condition and easy to find. Just follow the signs for eco cabins and you will come across this loop. We started down by the ski slopes as all the other parking was used up.
