Great trail, very scenic and trail was well maintained! Benches along the trail to the dunes, but no benches to stop and rest on the trail back. Took about 2.5-3 hours in total including time we spent at the dunes themselves. Lovely hike, other than sandy spots along the trail it is a moderately easy hike. I recommend!

Great trail! Very scenic, about 40 minutes walk to the dunes. A few bench’s along the way to stop and rest. Like other reviewers say, take lots of water! Trail was well maintained and a moderately easy walk

Lower trails offer a great change in elevation and thick terrain. Upper trail is freshly groomed and level.

Easy trail with a clear path. Be sure to wear a hat (that won’t blow away), sunscreen and take water. It is all open with no shade. Shows the beautiful rolling hills of Saskatchewan and we were fortunate to come across 2 herds of cows (one literally on the trail in front of us). Love all the interpretative signs along the way. We really took our time and did some photography along the way. Beautiful couple hours !!

HikingGreat!

Good trail for a quick hike. The Beaver Lake portion of the trail has great tree cover. The Youell Lake portion has much less cover (none in some spots) so I would strongly recommend a wide brimmed hat on a sunny day. The Youell Lake portion also requires you to go through two steel gates, just make sure to follow the signs. Both trails are very well maintained.

We too got mixed up and wandered off the trail and ended up on a quad trail, easy enough to get back on the path though. Didn't make it all the way to the lake, kids were cranky and it was too hot :/ Beautiful area, lots of trail options if you have a nice, cool day to meander :) I'll be back!

Lovely short trail - nice to see a park ensuring everyone can view some interesting plants (including those that eat bugs). A lovely boardwalk that can be enjoyed by all!

This trail, if it goes south of RR 3054, is going on to private land.

Fantastic trail ride through a hilly lodgepole pine forest. Started our ride seeing a healthy looking white tail doe and her two young fawns. The trail is at times challenging with all the tree roots, but not overly difficult.

Hidden gem! 50 min from Regina. We started at Regina Beach and went as Far East as possible (10km one way) through Lumsden Beach, through about 5 gates, and partway across the breakwater to the spot where an old bridge used to be but now it’s just a waterway. So we turned around and biked the 10km back to Regina beach (20 km round trip). Ate lunch. Then back on the bikes and this time went west of Regina Beach about 4.5 km through some amazing shoreline views, stunning homes, scenic canopy of trees covering the whole trail and again until the trail ended about 4km. Then back another 4km. So 28 km total. Leisurely pace. Whole trail is well cared for. Wide. Scenic views. Flat. Fun. It’s a former CNRail railway bed so packed and wide. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful trails, my only issue was there were very few signs marking the paths and most were missing names. I was happy to have this app.

Is it in Saskatchewan? Yes, we did over hear a few other hikers ask themselves. Fun and easy trail.
