Nice trail, was becoming overgrown once past the little bridge the last time we hiked it (2014). Be prepared for lots of mosquitoes!

In the summer of 2016 I attempted to find this trail while out running. I got to the start point which is a gravel stockpile but this is the first time I have seen a map. From what I remember, it appears the trail goes down the old highway which is pavement with trees growing through it. I obviously missed where the trail cuts off to go on the loop but now that I have a map, I'll have to run back there and try again.

There is a hill from the parking lot to get to the trail.

Park hours are from 7 am to 11 pm.

Hiked it this morning. Great!

It is a very interesting place. it is always changing, on the wind

An amazing trail! Definitely more of a hike than some of the other ones which are quite flat. Quite a few stairs, the woods are beautiful, great views of the lake, and SO quiet and peaceful.

Short trail. Great views of the prairies

I came to Saskatoon for work. Ran 6miles around the river at sunrise. Easy walk to any point of the trail from most downtown hotels which was great. Great houses to look at, intertwined with trails, pavement and bridges. Got a great view of a hot air balloon. Some hills and straight away so you get a good run!

This is a fairly long a difficult trail relative to the scenic reward. One option would be to just climb to the viewing tower and then return, but the views from the ridge top over Anglin Lake and across the valley are worth seeing.

This is a beautiful trail with great views along the shore of Waskesiu Lake, and then an interesting section along the creek with lots of evidence of beaver activity. Some of the information in the brochure is out of date, as the beavers have moved their house.

The boardwalk section is a wonderful scenic walk along the river, with lots of great vantage points for viewing the river and its abundant bird life. The loop through the forest is less interesting.

The boundary bog trail provides a couple of easy climbs and goes through a number of different environments over a relatively short distance. The interpretive brochure is informative and well-written.

Nicely groomed trails. Beautiful!

Great short hike with a variety of terrain. close to the core area so you can get an ice cream after the hike.

A great family trail

This trail is actually a loop. The quiet of the morning is a wonderful time to visit. Very steep climbs are encountered on the return leg, making parts of the trail more difficult than moderate.

This trail is a short easy hike near the Cypress Hills town site. Parts of it are paved and heavily trafficked, while others diverge from the main path, where you can find a bit more solitude.

An easy hike with a few places of elevation gain. The lakes are beautiful!

A great hike for the whole family. In the evening there is a good chance to see moose, deer, elk and other wildlife.

A great short hike in the provincial park.
