Nice trail, was becoming overgrown once past the little bridge the last time we hiked it (2014). Be prepared for lots of mosquitoes!

trail running

I lived in LaRonge in the late 80's and this was one of my favorite running trails. I even managed to do a few times without falling down. The trail was well maintained and signed back then but this is no walk in the park and despite being on a peninsula, every so often someone would wander off trail and need help getting back. I do have friends who took mountain bikes out to the end and they posted some excellent photos online not that many years ago.

Beautiful scenery and the trail was in great condition.

Great trail for the family. See lots in a short hike.

This is a fairly long a difficult trail relative to the scenic reward. One option would be to just climb to the viewing tower and then return, but the views from the ridge top over Anglin Lake and across the valley are worth seeing.

This is a beautiful trail with great views along the shore of Waskesiu Lake, and then an interesting section along the creek with lots of evidence of beaver activity. Some of the information in the brochure is out of date, as the beavers have moved their house.

A pleasant walk in the woods; well-marked and well-maintained.

The boundary bog trail provides a couple of easy climbs and goes through a number of different environments over a relatively short distance. The interpretive brochure is informative and well-written.

Nicely groomed trails. Beautiful!

Great short hike with a variety of terrain. close to the core area so you can get an ice cream after the hike.

This trail is actually a loop. The quiet of the morning is a wonderful time to visit. Very steep climbs are encountered on the return leg, making parts of the trail more difficult than moderate.

This trail is a short easy hike near the Cypress Hills town site. Parts of it are paved and heavily trafficked, while others diverge from the main path, where you can find a bit more solitude.

An easy hike with a few places of elevation gain. The lakes are beautiful!

Lots of bushwhacking in an unmaintained trail. Took about 5 hours with a few breaks. However, the end at Nut Point was beautiful to camp at overnight! Serene waters and lots of forest. Because the trail was unideal, we caught a boat back to La Ronge instead of taking the return trip.

A great hike for the whole family. In the evening there is a good chance to see moose, deer, elk and other wildlife.

Great trails that are a short distance from Regina. on a hot day it is great to take a break at the beach. In the winter great for snowshoeing.
