Hard trail but the views are worth it. Easy to get lost of take a game trail instead of the intended path, you'll need proper gear and to be able to do some free climbing on some sections especially on the last quarter of the way up.

This was s good hike for our family. We hiked with our two boys (10&8) and our pup. Lots of families and people going through the trails. Pet friendly

Amazing hike with several waterfalls and panoramic views. We crossed the falls and looped back down to Laughing Falls. My Strava app said it was 14.2 miles total. Very steep going up and down from Twin Falls but tons of switchbacks make it a little easier. Definitely was long and took all day but well worth it!

Great trail to do with the kids. We had a nice sunny spot for a picnic once we reached the falls.

Holy smokes this hike is incredible! This was our first backcountry camping trip. I wouldn’t consider this a difficult hike however there is one section of 4km uphill which is tough when you’ve got a heavy bag on your back. Even though it was a little smokey Kinney Lake was breath taking, emperor falls was insane and Berg lake was unbelievable. We couldn’t hike Mumm Basin or toboggan falls due to a rock slide so went out to Snowbird Pass which actually left us speechless. A long old hike but the Icefield was like being on another planet. I’m so keen to go back next summer before wildfires hit.

Some people were hiking out to berg lake and back just a one day. With an early start and reasonably fast pace I feel that it is do able.

great trail

Extraordinaire. Walking in these walls was exceptional. My favorite in this area.

Absolutely loved this hike. Beautiful views. Great campsites. There are about 5km on your way up that are challenging to say the least but all worth it once you see the glacier and the lake!

Short and sweet, small waterfall, walk beside and around the creek the whole time, pretty easy/beautiful. Wasn’t sure about it at first but def worth it. If you want to do the steep climb to the top, just be aware it’s a little difficult coming back down as it’s pretty steep. When you get up, take a right and follow the little trail for a nice mountain view and a spot to eat lunch :D there’s an arrow marked where you go back down again so you won’t get lost.

Went in winter got stuck in a blizzard but really easy to navigate. Super fun (and easy) for both humans and dogs!
Also managed to snap some amazing pictures!

Nice Trail easy to follow! Beautifull forest i recomend,

This is a great trail, fairly easy for many ages and full of fun things to explore.

Beautiful hike. Burns the legs right out and rewards you with spectacular 360 views. Highly recommend!

It's a tough one, basically straight up then down. Still beautiful scenery all around and an amazing view from the top.

This is a good hike. Definitely a steep one. Unfortunately it was smokey when we were up there so the view wasn’t as good as I’m sure it is.

Took my family to the second peak. More strenuous than I had explained to them. The chains, scrambling and awesome views at the peak made up for the up hill, multi-stair climb.

Amazing!!! I booked myself in for 6nights. Don’t need that many I left after 4 nights . Pack what you need !! I packed way to much but used it all. Traps and hoodies. I went July 27-August 1 beautiful weather. The black flys bite hard worse than the mosquitos. Trail all the way to robin pass. Amazing. Did snow bird pass amazing again !!
Fill up after white horn on your way to emperor falls there’s no water for 4km. Pack up early leave early to get a camping spot especially at emperor falls there’s only 7 pads. The trail isn’t overall hard. Hardest part was hiking up to emperor falls. Only cause my pack was too heavy. After emperor falls it’s smooth sailing. The views are to die for. Loved every turn and moment.

What a beautiful trail. I went with 4 boys and it was easy and interesting. I loved the walk! It was around 5pm walking in, so there was hardly any people. I was disappointed that I couldn’t see the falls at the end- you had to boulder up (no thanks) but the boys did it -which gave me multiple heart attacks. I couldn’t walk through the river to see it, the water was COLD and the logs were not stable enough for me to walk over. But I would do the trail again, it was so lovely!

Beautiful park, with different trails to choose from.

Did this trail back in May and there was a lot of snow. We ended up going the wrong way and added an unexpected 20km or so to our hike that we were not prepared for. By the time we got to Rawson Lake we were sore and wet from slipping in the feet of snow that covered 70% of the trail around the far side of the large lake. Rawson was still frozen over also. All in all good hike but make sure you know which way you’re going!

A great summer day for a hike. This is a moderate trail with numerous elevation changes. Bring bug spray. This is some of the nicest scenery in this section of the Bruce Trail.

Eagle Nest lookout is awesome. We parked at eagles nest, ascended on the logging road then took trail up to lookout. Descending we used the Pine Trail (something like that) which is a much nicer hiking trail along the ridge. This trail takes you back to the high way at Manitou Trail where you can walk the 400m back to the car. When I do it again I will use the Manitou Trail for sure!

Pretty great hike! Not a ton to look at on the way up but the climb was definitely worth it! The view at the top was awesome!

As of August 3 the trail has reopened.
This is a family friendly hike that is steady through trees but not technical.
If you go at a decent pace you can make it in around an hour to Rawson lake.
There is an option to continue on to Sarrail ridge, which I would recommend if you have poles/a walking stick and are prepared for a STEEP dirt trail. From the ridge you get a fantastic view of Rawson lake as well as the upper Kananaskis lake on the other side. Quite spectacular.
Otherwise, Rawson lake is the perfect spot for lunch, there is an outhouse a little ways a way and I did see people swimming and fishing in it (though you should check if fishing is allowed).
Overall a well kept trail to a beautiful lake. There are planks put on the ground for a section near the top to traverse muddy sections.

Definitely a leg burner, but over all technically a pretty easy* hike. Having good cardio was essential because it was a Grind! The views are absolutely and worth the calorie burn. Tonnes of mountain flowers, green meadows, a band of mountain goats (~20) and amazing mountain views from the top. Great view of old Fortress ski resort.

*This hike can easily turn into a moderate scramble, I ended up bouldering / climbing a bit because of a wrong turn on the way down before reconnecting with the trail.

A few notes for future hikers (just a few things I saw on the trail).
- Wear hiking boots, anyone wearing sneakers struggled significantly on the descent and with some of the steeper ascents.
- If you are confident / competent enough, you can scree ski down the top slopes, you just need to find a good section on the skiers right
- pay attention to the trail and where it goes haha, you can get into trouble really fast.
- bring bug spray

Great small hike. Trail is in good shape.

Went on a Friday after work and saw some guys paraglide off the top at sunset. It was more challenging than I expected, but the views were absolutely worth it - even before the paragliders showed up.

Found this to be insanely difficult, took about 10 hours round trip. We did not use any equipment but I would recommend a helmet and poles, lots of water and food.
Also It is more like 19km
once you get past sentinel Pass the trail begins, and becomes real very quick. Also it is very cold at the top, even in 30 degree august heat.
