Did this trail in winter. You have to walk on the road for 5km before climbing on the trail. It give you nice views!
Did it until rhe first point of view and then go back down.
If you have some energy continue until km18 and go back from the trail on the orher side of the river!
19.5 km in 5h30! Great experience!

A MUST if you're a bird lover like me. You can get really close to thousands of northern gannets.

As for the hike itself, it is easy.

I had planned to snowshoe but the trail was too packed down. Instead I hiked with poles - was difficult but very pretty. Some very steep sections where I wished I had cleats.

Good snow at the higher elevations. The problem this year is that there is logging in the area, and the logging road has compromised the trails. You will need to ski up and down on the Lac Lezar side of the trail, while the other trail shown on this map is only snowshoe in the winter.

There is now also a tower at the top of Montagne Noir which provides incredible views of the area. In the winter you need to share the top of the Montagne with snowmobiles

Nice trail (avg time : 3-4hrs) but way too many people at the time I went.

The first part before the top of Mont du Lac deq Cygnes is the best part! Views are really great! Be prepares it's windy up there...

Such a great snowshoe hike! The scenery is amazing, and what about the views!
The beginning is hard but you won't regret!
I choose to stay the night in the hut La Voie Lactée on the top of Mount Megantic and I recommand the experience!
It took me 5 hours to get to the hut and then 2 to ger back to the car!

Description not acurate! This is a loop, a great one to avoid the crowd on the Round Top!
The winter scenery is at its best after a snowstorm!

Best place close to Montreal for snowshoeing! Take the little detour to Lake Spruce before going up to the to! Amazing views up there!
Took a bit more than 3hours for the out and back!

Very nice in winter

kind of nice but the noise coming from nearer cars turn off a bit

Très bel endroit pour l’entraînement de course en sentier.

Always a pleasant walk with the dogs. hiden trails are fun to explore and away from the crowds.

Very enjoyable route for snowshoeing. Some steep slopes that are challenging in winter but the varied terrain makes for a rewarding route that travels through different patches of forest and open field. There is also a fire pit and wood available at Lac Carman should a rest be needed.

Connects with a number of other snowshoeing trails to the north and south.

Vraiment super beau au sommet .

It's beautiful in winter! Mes enfants ont apprécier car il y a beaucoup de plat entre les montées.

Trail "La Pioui" is wonderful all trail long. It's rugged and strenous, just the way I like it. The trail offered a lot of amazing viewpoints. Photographers will be filled. The lake is quiet and resourceful and the summit is windy and astonishing. You can go down by the same way you went up if you have enough time and energy (7km) or follow the maintained and large trail to arrive as soon as possible (3,7km). This last one is pretty easy, but the descend is a little boring. Running can be a good option. I do this hike every autumn.

Paysage Magnifique !! Très belle randonnée

We’ve completed this hike twice now, and both times enjoyed it. This year was a little snowy, so hiking was slower, but still very beautiful views. If you’re hiking the ridge to the Grand Manitou Lodge/Gondola to get down, it’s fully open and you’re on the ski slopes - very miserable if the snow machines are on.

Beautiful view points at some spots. Can be done on a day trip from Quebec city.

Beautiful view at the top. This time of year was quite muddy in sections: proper hiking boots are necessary. It’s basically like climbing stairs for the first 1.5 hours.

I loved this trail. Challenging but not too long. The falls are way larger than I thought they were going to be! On the day I went (late oct) I didn't see a single other person... It was lovely!!

The app should specify if dogs are allowed on the trail. Got there, ready to hike. No dogs allowed. 2 disappointed puppy dogs...

The Parc linéaire des Bois-Francs is a 77km trail of pleasure. The starting point is near Tingwick and the point of destination is Dosquet. I rode the trail on a mountain bike. It took me two days to ride it. I was riding with one friend and we have slept in a hostel for the night. I detoured sometimes to visit tourist places in the region. It is a must. If you want to see the full trail, visit the website: www.parclineairebf.com. I have created as well the route from Plessisville to Dosquet.

Realy liked that trail. There is a very good viewpoint in the first half of it. wich involve a good climb to get to. After that, the trail goes much more flat. Realy enjoyed the part with the little river in the wood.

Correct, pas une vue magnifique. La piste est à 1 km de chez moi, sinon je n'irais pas.
