The forest is really robust and diverse. A constant climb for 5k to the round top with a lot of loose rock and solid rock stairways; a true hiking exercise. The round top has three view points “WoW” Beautiful!
We visited Spruce Lake on the way back, serene, lovely.
Great hike!

Combine with part of the Spruce Lake trail on the way down for a very rewarding hike with lots of variety including streams, lakes and maybe the best view of the Quebec eastern townships on this side of the border. The trails are well marked and busy. Don't forget to bring cash for the trail fee.

Very promising trail. Good views from up top.

Vert nice! A Little short.

on Sommet des Hollandais

Nice landscape

beautyful all season nice trails

Easy nice point view beside the main one!!

Nice track bring you hiking boots

it is 10 km total when you take Spruce lake, then left for round top and you come back via l’entre deux it is tougher and less crouded. we go there at least 3 times a year. In winter it is great!!

Best place close to Montreal for snowshoeing! Take the little detour to Lake Spruce before going up to the to! Amazing views up there!
Took a bit more than 3hours for the out and back!

Bon hiking d'hiver en crampons

Paysage Magnifique !! Très belle randonnée

Hiked a portion of this trail, up from Rue Maple, looped all of the way around Lac Mohawk, then back down. Did it in mid-October in snow. Beautiful and peaceful.

This was really a nice trail !

Made it about 1km past the lake then turned back down. Mostly through the woods and no view points...unsatisfied with the hike to say the least.

Nice view on top.

First part (until the lake) is done on a large trail. Large enough for a big ATV, which easily creates tracks and holes. And if it has been raining, mostly because of these tracks, expect some quite muddy passages.

The second part (tiny trail on the right a hunder meters before the lake) is done on a small forest path, not leveled, and without much maintenance. Quite often, a small stream could be find trying to run in the middle of the trail. Personally, that's actually a very good thing, I don't like large gravel tracks, I like being in the middle of the forest!

99% is done under the trees, except at the lake, at the summit, and at a few clearings.

Very pleasant hike overall :)

The view is spectacular. The trail is kept in very good condition. We had a great time and on the way down took the trail to spruce lake.

Was there early so almost alone. I was able to explore and take my time. Nice trails! I would say 75% easy to moderate and the last km was moderate.
