Started from Régimbald's free parking lot. Took the "hard" trail (sentier centre) to Liberator crash site and was totally worth it. took around 3 hours to complete this small loop. The trail is well maintained, not many people in the winter, dogs are welcomed.

So beautiful ! Everybody is so welcoming and helpful on the hiking path !

Many options. Well maintained and marked. Great views and dog friendly.

Somme toute, incroyable paysage!:)

Today we went to see if there was enough snow for snow shoes but there isn’t yet so we decided to hike trail 5 which includes the summit. Great work out and and we will return. I see some posts below that mention the trails are not well indicated. This must have been improved because there are signs everywhere.

Nice trail but 850m to do on the road due to a new routing

Beautiful but way too many people

Love this trail for a Sunny Sunday hike. If you start near the school and go all the way to the ski parking lot you pass through lots of lovely scenic areas, following the long of a beautiful river. Beautiful spring, summer, fall and winter. Often need basic crampons from some parts during winter months.

Great for bicycle and skate, Walk with baby and Family.
Can be a busy place.

Beautiful Views! Well marked trails. Challenging in parts, but a great workout while climbing to the top. We will definitely do it again.

We walked the lac des femmes trail on Christmas Day with our kids (6 and 8).

It was about 2 hours all in (stopping every 10 minutes to play in the snow). We were in boots with no recent snowfall and it was easy walking.

Giving it five stars as through the lens of a family in winter.

In summer, this is a nice hike with beautiful views and nature. In winter, it is very different, it’s very easy to get lost (especially if, like me it’s your first time on this trail) and if you do, it can get pretty dangerous. We were lost and stuck on the top of a frozen vertical cliff and had to somehow descent and find the trail. For me, it was part of the fun, but if you know that it won’t be the case for you, I wouldn’t recommend this trail in winter.

Note that the trail is right in the middle of golden and bald eagle wintering habitat. We saw on one hike in February six species of raptors including a bald eagle and a peregrine falcon.

Beautiful trail! That’s our go to spot every time!

a trail without crowd ...

Loved this hike. Hiked it early morning after snowfall, was still well packed and easy to stay on the trail. Had numerous gorgeous lookouts. Will be back.
