Awesome awesome awesome experience. I'm from Virginia, United States. We were lucky enough to visit Montmorency Falls in the dead middle of winter in Quebec. It was before 20 and the water had frozen over solid enough that we were able to walk all the way up near the bottom of the falls.

Excellent winter run!

I loved this trail. Challenging but not too long. The falls are way larger than I thought they were going to be! On the day I went (late oct) I didn't see a single other person... It was lovely!!

vraiment belle chutes

I've done this trail twice already. It has s good mix of flat and steep surfaces to hike. It gets steeper as you get close to the end but the reward is quite nice and allows you to step out from the shades of the trees. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a hike near Montreal as it's also accessible by public transport.

This is the real deal,...

Very nice trail. Bridges that cross over the river. Technical difficulty because of rocks on some parts of the trail. Try parking a car at each ending so you won't have to walk the way back. It is a must to stop by the loop to the waterfalls.

Be aware that you will have to use ropes in order to climb some of the cliffs, nothing too difficult though.

Merveilleux!

great trail! more difficult them Dieppe but more easy them the blue one*

Beaux panoramas.

trail is great stunning views. many falled trees and one tricky land sliding on the trail at actual date of 13 May 2017. we complete the trail in 7 hours one way, with a decent time for pictures and walked back to the starting point about 1h by the route. Would go again to make the loop of chute larose which we've missed.

It's a nice leisurely hike with a great view at the end. For those looking to burn calories you could do it just over an hour. There's a great view at the end where you can see montreal in the distance. The trails were clearly marked except for the at the start which took me off course for 10 minutes. No big deal, and we saw two dears that were clearly unafraid of humans.

Loved this trail! I actually did two as a "loop", went up Burned Hill and came down Le Pain De Sucre. It is quite tough though if you are a begginer or overweight.

Family fun

Super endroit!

Easy access from Montreal. It is a very beautiful natural reserve. We go to hike there whenever we have time in the week-ends

You can do all the trails in 3-4h. The trails are all fairly easy, but it's still a fun hike just outside the city.

Not too hard but beautiful ! Nice waterfall at the end !

Second time hiking that one, liked it as much as the first time. Not too crowded and at a fair pace, can be challenging cardio-wise, if not very technical. Beautiful trail overall!

Easy family climb

Very nice scenery and a good, non-technical hike (AllTrails rates as Hard but it is definitely not Hard. Perhaps Medium). Views of the river across the suspension bridges are great and there is good spot for a lunch break near the 6km mark. Follow the well-marked white/red paint (think Polish flag) to stay on trail.
Started at the Eastern trailhead by the old church.... 2:35 down to lunch spot and another 2:15 to the Western end at pretty slow pace in a big group (we left a vehicle there earlier). 20 lbs pack.
No snow on the trail yet first week of November but quite wet.
