Awesome trail. Very very buggy start this time for the year and we thought we were in for a tough time but it definitely got better as we inclined. It was a great workout with a steady incline and great views. Expect rocky conditions. Might be tough for pups and children.

Bugs are out, but didn’t seem to be biting. Was a lovely morning for this hike.

Covid19 update: Parking lot is open. We went on Sunday morning around 9:00, not too many people. When we finished at noon, parking lot was full, lots of people on the trail. Go early during the week end. The special Covid19 direction signs are confusing. I would say keep your GPS close.

If anyone is visiting during covid-19, there are 1 way signs that you have to follow. You cannot go the opposite direction for exploring the place for the first time. I came here to find that Cave that was shown in the images but it was in the opposite direction, I had to walk almost 2km in a loop to get where I was trying to get but didn't even end up finding the Cave. I back tracked the opposite way because I thought it was close by. Then an old guy yelled at me for walking the opposite way and threatened to call the provincial wardens if I continue in this direction. I kept my 2+ meters from everyone but in the end I couldn't explore this wonderful area

Trail and parking lot are now open. Be aware that there are large signs indicating direction of travel for the loop portion of the trail. It’s now supposed to be done only in a counter-clockwise direction. Trail is in good condition. Water levels are lower than normal for this time of year but it’s still pretty buggy.
