Done in 2016. Amazing experience, the shift in landscape and the agitated weather right before reaching the summit made it an unforgettable hike!

Beautiful and multiple views !

It's a wonderful trail with stunning views. You can add more to the hike than what is described here, you can do a small loop after the first climb and also a short trail to a lookout station giving a beautiful view West. There is plenty of wildlife to be seen, including mooses. (I do not think caribous are along that trail)

Done in summer 2016.

Incredible hike! Very long hike and hard on the knees in the descent, but very rewarding!

My tip: Bring lots of water and sunscreen. Amazing hike.

Amazing hike! The loop is definitely worth it vs the back & forth. More difficult but the scenery on the way down of this loop is amazing. One of my best hikes of the year for sure.

One of the most difficult, and beautiful hiking trails I have ever taken in Quebec

Trail is wooded for the first 80% of the way up until you pass the tree line. It's quite rocky all the way up, with the last kilometer all rocks and some scrambling required. You'll definitely know you've been on a mountain hike. The views are amazing at the top!

Enjoyable walk. The trail is very well maintained, wide and gravel. Views from the top are lovely.

A beautiful and unique experience, and a challenging day hike. Crossing the broad flat alpine tundra at the summit is surreal and the descent through the scrubby, rocky serpentine gulch is both beautiful and alien. Top it all off with a beautiful alpine lake and a waterfall at the end.

Be warned: the section down through the Serpentine rocks from around mile 4 to mile 6 is two solid miles of rock scrambling and will really drain you, particularly if you're on the shorter side.

Amazing hike though. You won't find too many anglophones making the trip, but I've done many day hikes in the east and nothing was quite like this. Not necessarily as stunning as say, the Franconia Ridge Trail, but an even more unique experience by my book.
