Beautiful, good challenge, short and sweet. View is great!

This trail is rated as moderate however I found it pretty intense and I run. It is a lot of climbing so be prepared but the scenic view is beautiful. Lots of people on the trail with us which was nice. I agree with other who commented that the trail is not well marked. There are signs but it is hard to know where exactly you are or where you want to go.

Easier than expected, but a great view from the top!

magnifique

Just amazing! Some sections are quite steep but with the right claws, your cardio will be challenged. Frozen waterfalls and beautiful views over Memphrémagog lake. We took 3.5 h for the whole run.

Beautiful but way too many people

Incroyable

Great for bicycle and skate, Walk with baby and Family.
Can be a busy place.

Waterfall is impressive

We walked the lac des femmes trail on Christmas Day with our kids (6 and 8).

It was about 2 hours all in (stopping every 10 minutes to play in the snow). We were in boots with no recent snowfall and it was easy walking.

Giving it five stars as through the lens of a family in winter.

In summer, this is a nice hike with beautiful views and nature. In winter, it is very different, it’s very easy to get lost (especially if, like me it’s your first time on this trail) and if you do, it can get pretty dangerous. We were lost and stuck on the top of a frozen vertical cliff and had to somehow descent and find the trail. For me, it was part of the fun, but if you know that it won’t be the case for you, I wouldn’t recommend this trail in winter.

Note that the trail is right in the middle of golden and bald eagle wintering habitat. We saw on one hike in February six species of raptors including a bald eagle and a peregrine falcon.

This is a road, not a trail. Maybe it was a trail before but now there’s a road and lots for sale.
