Don't mind the distance, I had to go backwards because we lost something. Nice trails, we did it in the opposite sens and it was awesome!

Completed the entire loop of the lake starting form the P19 parking lot. Even with the warm weather and rain we had recently the trail is in excellent condition. Off trail the snow has a hard, crunchy surface but with plenty of soft powder underneath. Lake is well frozen and easily traversed. This is one of the better trails to snowshoe in the park with plenty of scenic views of the lake from the trail. Lots of hills and slopes so you'll want to use those lifters on your shoes to save your calves!

Bien aimé ce chemin qui nous fais découvrir autant la ville que le nature sur le Mont Royal. Le belvédère sur le Mont Royal vaut la peine d’y aller.

Basic forest walk with no elevation but site is nice, wide and accessible all year long for a small entrance fee. Good last minute option for a quick fix of fresh but no particular hype around it.

Pas aussi de challenge que par Stukley, mais l’hiver c’est mieux, car pas besoin de partir du Cerisier. Pluie et ensuite -15 à fait en sorte qu’il y avait une bonne croûte. Porte de crampons optionnelle.

An nice snowshoe trek through the woods. Lots of steep slopes and inclines makes this a challenging trail. You'll want to use those lifters if you are snowshoeing. Not my favorite Gatineau Park trail. it runs too close to busy Hwy 5 so there's some noise pollution. No scenic lookouts and not much in the way of scenery other than the trees. Trail went close to a lake but not actually to the lake. Trail was quite narrow in most places rendering my poles useless.

fun hike with great views & some variety in the woods & terrain. some stair climbing, a few hills. I recommend start to the left so that you can enjoy the best views early & finish on the easier half of the trail. the lake is a unique colour & there's also a cool pit mine ruin to oggle.
