Was a beautiful hike, fairly easy but with freshly fallen snow it gave us a good workout. We used Trail 67 to get to the 66 loop, so ended up being about 5.5k in total. It was cool to cross over a cross-country skiing trail and watch them for a bit (impressive). It is a beautiful forest trail, however my only issue is that you’re so close to major roads that instead of hearing nature - you hear cars driving by and people talking.

Great for winter running. Lots of traffic.

bonne après-midi en raquette!

Bon hiking d'hiver en crampons

kind of nice but the noise coming from nearer cars turn off a bit

Awesome awesome awesome experience. I'm from Virginia, United States. We were lucky enough to visit Montmorency Falls in the dead middle of winter in Quebec. It was before 20 and the water had frozen over solid enough that we were able to walk all the way up near the bottom of the falls.

Me and my husband had a great time...its a nice trail..the view on the top is amazing....

I love this Trail (in every season!!) Two amazing lookouts (and very different), the sounds of small streams running through a beautiful forest... with a variety of levels of difficult throughout the Trail. It’s about 8.5km total, I think. I recommend turning RIGHT at the fork (near the beginning of the Trail head), to aim towards Mahingan Lookout first. It’s a steep uphill climb for 2km from there. Then a shorter easier 2k walk to the next Lookout, and then a gradual and longer 3.5km walk back to the Trailhead. I also recommend going for both summer hiking and winter hiking(or snowshoeing in my case) to see how awesome but different the landscape is!

Great urban walk. Plenty of great architectural gems along the way!
