I absolutely love this trail ! It has tons of shade as the trees loop together form the top and keeps it nice and cool in the summer . It’s both baby and dog friendly ! Our family loves it !

This was a pleasant surprise for us as we had planned to go
to Secord. It was busy with an organized run. In any event we were just starting west on Vivian Road and decided to go South on Mc Cowan. There were cars parked on the side òf the road when we noticed the entrance to Scout. It was a last minute decision to try it. We passed very occasional walkers and came upon the lakes. As I said before it was a pleasant surprise. I'm glad we left Secord for this new adventure.

1) It should be noted that there isn’t an outhouse or porta potty or washroom facility at this location. We made the mistake of arriving while having to pee. 2) Aside from that it was the perfect location for a lovely walk in the woods. The trails are big and beautiful and the canopy (mostly) keeps you out of direct sunlight. 3) We will definitely be going back!

Walked it on March 30th. Not too muddy (only a few spots). Wide paths or narrow ones. Trees are just beautiful!

Parking on the road.

Very nice trail for a run. Sandy in parts which means you get a better workout! Lots of side trails - I almost got lost while running it for the first time late in the evening. Looking forward to exploring them further...in the daylight of course!

Solid 3k trail for an out and back run. Parking on the road at entrance.
Turn your run into a 5k by adding on an additional 2k loop (entrance across the street about 100 meters north)

Numerous loops throughout the area. Nice wide sandy trails for runners, hiking and biking with some narrower side trails for some easy single track. Dog friendly for friendly dogs.

Best trail in the area. Lots of options. Very scenic. Place for my dog to go swimming. I love it

Very enjoyable. No bugs

Had a blast on the trail with my family. My grandma with her walker loved it. The lake was gorgeous and close to the parking lot too. Lots to see

The rain in the GTA has taken a toll on this lovely quick trail. Until next year Bruce's mill!

It's a great place for a nice long nature walk except for the disgusting amounts of horse sh*t I'd walk past [on the trail].

Other than that, I'd deffinitely do it again. (The picture that I posted didn't crop properly. Sorry)

We came here a couple of times before when the sap was running and our kids were litel. They have a "sugar bush" where kids can see how sap used to be harvested and reduced to syrup and how it's done now. There's also an all day pancakes breakfast. But be forewarned. It's not cheap!

On this mid-week Sept day we arrived to find no one on duty and a sign asking us to leave the $13 dollars admission for two people. We ended up having to drive 30 minutes out of our way to get cash/change. The trails themselves are short, not well marked and are always within ear shot of heavy traffic. All in all a real disappointment. I feel I am done with paying to enter the GTA conservation areas. They all seem to be expensive, not particularly interesting or challenging and they all seem to feature traffic noise. This wasn't worth the drive or the money.
