Have visited several times this winter. It is always a pleasure. Bring your crampons as there are some slippery areas and steep hills.

Great trail, good for x country skiing and the dog loved it too!

This is a really nice hike in a hilly, mostly hardwood forest. And, you can easily vary or add on to hike by going down numerous trails that hook up to other areas.

Parts of this trail are more suited to mountain biking.

nice trails & confusing to maneuver for rookies like me. Dog's paradise !!

Beautiful and lightly travelled.

Glen Major Forest is where I go to forget the city for a few hours.

Beautiful woods. Great trails for biking or hiking.

Lots of off-shoot options. Great trails.

Good hike. 7-8 km with off shoots to extend hike length.

My favourite spot to walk. You make it as long as you want. A lot of ups and downs to keep the heart pumping. The new signage on the trail is perfect. A nice surprise I had this year.

The trail might be nice, but I've been here twice now and can only make it 10 minutes in before running back to my car. The mosquitoes are vicious here. The first time I went around 5pm, so the next day I tried the trail in the morning with bug spray on me- still attacked by mosquitoes. I won't try this trail again during summer.

Love this place. Bring your "Deep Woods"

Nice, quiet trails with lots of ups and downs!

Great trails! Beautiful scenery .

Great trail for kids to get into mountain biking. It is also well shaded so even when it is 40+, you don't feel that hot while biking here! Highly recommended!

Nice walk - surprised it isn’t used more

It's mid Spring now and Secord is a beautiful place to be. Only problems are the mosquitoes and some wet trails.

Great trails. Did 16km in 4 hours. All the side trails are made for biking but they are great for hiking too, lots of twists and turns. Parking is free.

One of our favorite trails near Stouffville. Have visited 3 times this Winter. There is still some ice on the steep hill half way around and is somewhat treacherous. Still recommend crampons.

Beautiful spot! Will definitely come back in the summer as well. One section was quite steep especially in the snow. Took us 1.5 hours to do the loop taking our time.

Great trail for a winter hike. The trail is a bit narrow but that is a small inconvenience. Ground is frozen and hard packed, so the mud is no longer a worry. The dam is pretty as the rocks are starting to ice over.
