Nice, quiet trails with lots of ups and downs!

Great trails! Beautiful scenery .

Nice walk - surprised it isn’t used more

It's mid Spring now and Secord is a beautiful place to be. Only problems are the mosquitoes and some wet trails.

One of our favorite trails near Stouffville. Have visited 3 times this Winter. There is still some ice on the steep hill half way around and is somewhat treacherous. Still recommend crampons.

Beautiful spot! Will definitely come back in the summer as well. One section was quite steep especially in the snow. Took us 1.5 hours to do the loop taking our time.

We'll marked trails. Snowshoes respect the ski track.

Great trail for a winter hike. The trail is a bit narrow but that is a small inconvenience. Ground is frozen and hard packed, so the mud is no longer a worry. The dam is pretty as the rocks are starting to ice over.

I love this place!

Lots to explore, you can make this quite a bit longer if you want to add the side trails. Parking lot at trail head, trail was quiet but we did see a few mountain bikers (even in the snow!). Trail was a little snow covered and muddy in some spots, but well maintained and easy to navigate. Would recommend. Great for the dogs also!

Lots of trails to explore, beautiful lookouts, and a lot of up and downs provide a good workout while enjoying nature.

Other than it being soooooo hot today, this is a great trail. It was a bit buggy on the back side (N side) of the trail where the creek is and the ground is wet. The south side is great and the canopy kept the sun at bay. The trail is a bit overgrown so pay attention to the markings.

Fun hike through different type's of forest. Very dense wildflowers and trees.

Might be good in September. Bugs are brutal in July

Gorgeous trails with potential for novice mtn biking. Took the paths today for a jog. Lots of diversity in the forest. Well mapped.

Nice trail tons of mosquitoes but given the wet spring and the amount water at this site (ponds and creeks) it's not surprising. I enjoyed the walk.

Really nice! Huge Area close to home, it's was cold today so we didn't go for too long about half hour, but it's really quite not a lot of people.

Not a lot of water or wildlife that we saw.

Terrific family hike...not difficult, nice views, not overly busy.

Nice trail. Saw some Quail and the area around the dam is very pretty. Mosquitos veryyyyy irritating and I did leave with quite a few souvenir bites. Pet cemetery very interesting and cute. Didn't even know it was as large as it was until I got there!

The trail is beautiful, with a lot of different paths to take and still make a loop and a few different landscape settings that made the hike interesting. We really liked the numbered markers and maps; really easy to navigate and no fear of getting turned around! Lots of bikers around, but most of our 2 hour hike was on our own on a sunny June Sunday afternoon.

Looked like a lovely trail, took some photos at the beginning which I've uploaded here but the mosquitos were unbelievable. We're talking clouds of them. Will try again. Lovely spot, sad little pet cemetary.

Wasn't expecting trails to be as groomed as they were / was barely worth bring ing snowshoes. It is marked and intersects many other trails in the area - well used by locals sometimes with dogs but seemed very respectful. Come spring / summer I can see these forests would be lovely and probably plenty of birdlife
