Lovely trail with different paths that veer off from the main one along the way. Not well marked. Beside a U of T property which is beautifully maintained. There is parking along the road.

Be polite to the mountain bikers and all of them are super polite back! We had nothing but very pleasant encounters. The trail is mountain biking heaven, yet it is easily walkable without feeling like you shouldn't be there. Autumn leaves and a gorgeous day made for an amazing hike. We walked around for about 2 hours at a leisurely pace, following the map. I was happy I had proper hiking shoes on, even though ground was mostly dry.

short little walkabout with only a few inclines. beautiful autumn colours and a view of the t.o. skyline

Really nice, easy hike in the city. Because you're in a sort of ravine it feels like you're really in a forest. The fall colours were beautiful.

nice leisurely hike. we did it with a dog on leash and had no problems. little signage so had to check the map frequently. occasional mountain biker on track.

would be nice to have some sitting area close to water. overall it was a great walk

This was a great trail, one part does get a bit over grown. However, it was myself, my husband and 3 year old. My son even walked a well 2km since it was fairly easy.

Very well-kept trail. We went mid-afternoon and there were not many people. Towards the late afternoon it got busier. Great opportunities for birdwatching. We saw a woodpecker, a nut hatch, a hawk, a blue jay, and several chickadees.

Feels like you’re out in the country! Nice, easy trail along the lake. Not a lot of people using it the day we went out. Beautiful fall colours!

Was a great place to hike In the city Lots of space for people pets and bikes Only smelly part was down wind from the sewage treatment I would avoid that side next time

No dogs on Trail? Excellent. (Protect wildlife from dogs)

It was a quiet peaceful trail. Not a lot of people and no bikes. A very nice walk.

Not a review however it is mentioned that t his is a river. It is a creek. Just a fyi

Beautiful and quiet trail early in the morning. We did encounter a coyote however, so be mindful of this with small dogs and children!

This is a great trail for kids, but sign posing isn’t that great so definitely bring your phone for directions.

Trail was partially closed due to overgrown vegetation and partly unmaintained

Great trails!! Trees have over grown a bit...

Nice paved path with lots of nature. Moderately used by walkers/joggers. Directions take you right to a parking lot, trail head is easy to find.

nice easy walk with my dog! love seeing all the nature on the walks and also off leash areas for my dog to explore.

It almost feels like you’re outside of the city. The pond had cute ducks. It was too populated for my liking but not super busy.

excellent!

Nice trail but too many cyclists who like to travel at top speed. Cross any bridge and take the dirt path on the other side of the creek to enjoy the walk free from cyclists.

Warning: the part of the trail I am describing below was actually off-limits but signage was only one-way and I didn’t see until coming out of it. Good trail through forest but not much change in scenery. Some parts very steep may need some rest. Very shady throughout not much wind because of dense trees. Path is dirt, rocks and roots-wear comfortable shoes and bring water. As a new hiker and not an outdoorsy person I am wary of ticks and the part of the trail that follows the river along the southern half of the trail is full of tall grass and the trail goes through it all in a narrow path that is sometimes easily lost. I do not recommend doing that part of the loop. Just retrace the northern part of the trail, which has high traffic and wider paths.
