good trail as fun for biking

I love the Boardwalk. The walking surface is well maintained, the views are wonderful and the ambiance is terrific. It’s the best place to spend a couple of hours walking.

Combination of dirt and paved paths, lovely scenery. A fantastic way to spend a few hours in nature without having to drive outside of the city! Easily accessible via transit which is another plus.

I’d been looking forward to this for so long and it sadly missed the mark by a mile. It’s a boring walk along an old road. No where to sit and rest. You get practically run over by bikes at every turn. Definitely not worth it.

Nice paved trail. A little busy with bikers but they all seem to have bells so all was good. It was a hot summer day and there is not much shade. As I had my dogs we took a few trips down to the river to cool off. But I wasn’t able to go as far as I wanted. Will come back in the cooler weather for sure.

Great run. Nice scenery and good hills for running

Nice scenic trail along the river. No signs around. Got lost a few times.

Nice scenic route - ends at mount pleasant cemetery which is also a great place to run.

Very nice trail. Medium difficulty, paved and easy to follow. It goes cloes to an abandoned railway and offers great view over the city. I ended up in an old factory and clay quarry. A must do to my opinion.

Nice trail for MTB

It was our first trail in Toronto and we were pretty impressed. it's a long trail and lots of greenery and open spaces. perfect for cyclists and running. we enjoyed a long walk and had a picnic as well. the humber river runs by the trail and makes for some good pictures.

excellent trails!
though the invasive species are taking a wicked hold down there...

We loved it. A nice family walk took us 3 hrs. we did all the paths. And took a lot of great pic.

We got a bit hot but there were a couple spot with a nice cool breeze. And nice people. Very clean.

Just beautiful

Well used trail and not that tranquil - if you want a quieter trail, cross Leslie and head to Wilket Creek.
Be aware that the spur south of Lawrence has a sign that reads "No Exit South of Overland". This is incorrect. They have now put a formal exit at the end of the trail running west to Leslie past the office buildings. Due to this sign however, this tends to be a more quiet part of the trail, as many people turn around and walk back north at this point.

Wilket Creek is currently undergoing maintenance but don't let that stop you. If you enter from the south end by Sunnybrook, be aware the trail entrance is poorly marked. There is a sign post by the washrooms but it says Thomas Bata Trail - that is actually the first few yards of Wilket Creek. Only a short way in you'll find the entrance barred for construction, but stick to the left side dirt trail. It will lead you on a parallel path up to the Sunnybrook soccer pitches (be aware this part is moderate intensity and not suitable for those with very young children). Watch out for a sharp turn to your right at the soccer pitches which will take you out on to a suburban side street which you must follow north for all of about 200 yards before a small pathway beside house # 32 plunges you back into Wilket Creek, where you can continue north to Edwards Gardens and the TBG

I've done this trail 3x and every time I've ended up somewhere completely different. Lots of forks and turns so it's easy to not follow the loop.
It's an excellent hike but if it wasn't for this app, we would have been totally lost. I need to work on my navigational skills!
I hiked this with a 3-year-old in a back carrier and it was fine (and I'm not that athletic or strong by any stretch).
Great trail for "real" hiking!

Great trail. Only rode once but very well maintained

Nice little walk, especially the harder to find off-park trail through the woods.

An easy and flat trail (read path) used by walkers, bikers and runners. Not exactly exciting but will get your run off the road.

More of biking trail than hiking but it was okay.

Riding the trail from the north, the proper trail ends just east of Kennedy Road. Some work has begun on extending the trail and some of it is marginally rideable. However, just before Tomken Rd, the trail is impassable. It would be nice to have some signage to indicate when the trail is expected to be completed.

Usually do this every September for the Terry Fox 10KM event.

Gets too crowded in the summer, it has lost the feel of being on a nice quiet wildness hike, too many people using it now
