The trail actually continues on past the fire tower lookout trail, passes by Talus Lake and several other small lakes and eventually connects with the bottom half of the Top of the Giant trail. So you can do a complete loop if you continue on the Kabeyun Trail back to the parking lot. A challenging hike with incredible views! Peregrine Falcons seen on the cliffs along Talus Lake.

Lovely and unique experience. Beautiful and unique lakes, campsites, portages and wildlife. Can't wait to come back.

Nice trees, small lake at the end.

It's mainly just a connector trail to the main system, nothing much to say on its own.

It only takes a few minutes so it's worth checking out once.

Relaxing trail, nice beach. Huge waves to try and sneak from point to point along beach the day we went, kids thought that was great.

I thoroughly enjoyed this trail. Once we were out of eyesight of the Visitor's Center, the only people we saw were a sea kayaking couple. The trail itself it not too strenuous, however the hardest part was staying on the trail as it can be hard to find with brush overgrowth. The trail crosses a box canyon, the first night's camp site was near a waterfall and a nice place for a swim! The second night's camp was along Lake Superior. Here we saw a moose eating out of the river-- he was on the opposite bank (fortunately!). We also enjoyed the Norther Lights. If you want a place all to yourself this is it!

It is pretty difficult to get to the top of sleeping giant. It is almost 8 km easy walk around 3 km difficult high slope hike and you should back the same km.
There is no cell phone signal and you defiantly need enough water depend of the weather.
But after all you will see unbelievable look out from the top.
