Lovely trail, solid footing with wide path. Great for walking dogs and easy for children

Beautiful trail. Pictures don’t do it justice. Tons of wildlife! Late September is the best time to go imo.. no bugs at that time and it’s sweater weather!

Awesome trail for a quick run. I’ve been trying to find time go hike it with my camera, tomorrow might be the day.

Good trail for a quick tip on a MTB.

Great hiking trail but there is a Firearms range nearby so please, don't bring your dog... had to cut short my outing short because my dog was terrorized.

Great trail...paved and wide. Watch for cyclists.

a good hike.

Awesome little hike!!! My brother and his girfriend and my wife and I along with my 4 year old daughter hiked this trail with relative ease! Some challenging terrain and many bridges! We were also fortunate enough to see a beaver (I think), a deer, snakes and other woodland creatures. Highly recommend! They also have a few bathrooms for the little ones who forget to go before you leave!

watch out for the horse flies. bring bug spray. go after rain, waterfall had no water

Hiked with my dog down the eastern leg and back up the western leg to the Pelham parking area. Lots of turns and some ups and downs but a pretty easy trail. Still some muddy patches so wearing boots is still recommended. Most of the trail is through the trees but there are a few open stretches; it was about 60˚F today so not too much stress on the pup. There's a few sections with a fallen tree across the trail, most were easy to hop over but a couple i had help the pup over.

We went for a hike in the short hills via the entrance off of Pelham road and did a 8.8km loop (we explored a little). It was April 8, 2018 and the hike started slightly below zero and finished slightly above zero. The trail was pretty muddy throughout, but manageable as parts were still frozen. Several bridge crossings and multiple waterfalls along this route. Fairly easy terrain. A little busy at the trail head and by Swayze falls, which were very beautiful. Fun for the whole family and the pup!

We hiked the left hand side of the Swayze Falls trail loop and returned by the middle trail as shown on the map. This was on a beautifully sunny November 27th with no wind but 3 degrees C but was a wonderful experience. It took just over two hours. Swayze Falls did have water in it despite it being late in the year and the waterfall (at the south end of the loop .. not marked on the map) was gorgeous with a bridal veil type falls dropping about 80 feet or so. I added a photo of the falls to the photos area.

This is a nice short hike for all skill levels ,our 3 and 5 year olds had no issues completing the loop.only issue was that the back part of the loop is closed for trail regeneration, so you end up doing most of the hike through a hydro field...

Lots of different terrain. Forest field water waterfall. Something for everyone. Rolling hills. Nothing steep.

i enjoyed the length of my hike however right now its pretty slick and muddy, a few nice views. i like st johns conservation area in fonthill quite a bit more just based on the scenery.

This was a lovely trail, but with the mild, wet January we have been experiencing, about 50% of the trail was puddles and muddy...I tried to leave all the mud behind, but may have smuggled some home on my pant bottoms and boots...

it was good.

great trail for starting out.

Great. Will do it again

Great trail for walking, jogging, biking and even horseback riding. Beautiful scenery. Some good hills to navigate. Lots of roots to watch out for.
