Was there Monday, Wednesday, Thursday this week to trail running. Perfect for hiking, Trail running and MTB now as they are all dry. You will see beautiful beds of Trillium flowers (Lots of them and I think it is Trillium and sorry if I am wrong). It is nearby the gravel session of the Not a lot of bugs yet but it really depends on weather so I put on it anyway.

Trilliums are out. No bugs yet. Absolutely stunning. There are many trails and no markers so drop a pin on your phone where you parked your car for safety sake. Simply wonderful after a long winter. Best to park in Bridgewater Road and walk in rather than parking off Stouffville entrance as it can be hard to back out onto Stouffville road.

Running again with condition left over ice, pallet snow and wet snow from freezing rain last weekend. Many area are quite slippery and with packed ice or packet ice with paddle of water underneath. Not good to hike or run if you don't have a proper hiking or trail running shoe.

Cannot say it is very technical steep up and downhill, or with rock and rough trail, but it's S-shaped maze trail with up & downhill will not make you too bore. Constantly up and down can train up the short burst up & down. Some of the lower area are still cover with ice and other area are muddy but are still perfect for trail running. BTW, the scenery are nice with wildlife (I saw woodpecker pecking) only lack of river and stream.

Trail is closed until spring of 2019. Disappointed, but it’s all for the better!!

Running there myself and with friends for quite a few times. Gravel base so not much mess. It can start from varieties location and connects you to other trails bond lake. Not technical trails at all, and almost no tree and shade.

It was really slippery and muddy.. dog poop everywhere along the trails!! The hike was cut short as the sun was setting.. I arrived late around 4pm.. the beautiful snow is gone, the melty ice was yellowy lol! I only walked 1/3 into the trail only. Within 1/3 it would be an easy path, barely any incline and no adventures - in terms of caves and climbing. Great path for long walks and even jogging! I may consider returning in the Spring or Summer to walk the entire trail! Let’s hope no poopy paths this time!

nice trail, still rather icy despite warm weather of late.

Good neighbourhood trail. Easy accessible. Well maintained.

This is my favourite trail with my dog. We usually make a round walk of lake. Less than an hour, slow walking along a beautiful lake and trees refresh us. Today was 10 degree in the afternoon. Lovely November day.

It was a bit windy when I started on Old Colony rd being in the open, but then there is more trees so it gets warmer. I took the trail around bond lake for the return, cutting back on old colony rd. That section was my favourite being in the trees and having amazing views of the lake. Main trail surface is crushed lime stones.

Nice trail, but unfortunately could not enjoy the scenery because it's a mosquito feeding frenzy in there. Lather up with the repellent!

Short path, enjoyable easy walk through tall trees. Very clean and quiet.

Beautifully maintained trails. Main trail is tiny white gravel. the trail around the lake is a bit more technical but not by much. Great time to spend an hour or two hiking around Bond lake. very enjoyable and pleasent.

As a trail, it is really nice considering it is in an urban area. The trail is flat, gravel, with moderate ups and downs. Between Bathurst and Yonge it is open area whereas mostly shaded between Yonge and Bayview. There are parkings on each of the three major crossing roads.
The greatest problem is lack of any facilities along the trail, including in the parkings. At least bring a portable toilet in each parking, if not a real bathroom with running water.
Once you are aware of the facility issue and prepare in advance, it is lovely up-to-16 km trail, and will visit it again, for sure.

Beautiful trail, but it deserves a 4 star because we followed the lake margin trail, otherwise (if we'd followed the main trail) it would be a 3...

Great trail for geocaching. Too bad there's some littering along the trail trail, but otherwise a beautiful lake.

This is a nice family easy trail. I enjoy walking around both ponds instead of going the traditional route. It's longer and more scenic

Great view

Not that great I went there a long time ago like last May and it's too close to houses and it doesn't feel like your in a nature trail also its kind of boring especially when you have to bike 13km to get there.
