The Wild-wild trail, the way to escape from social life. Oshawa Creek is full of a trout, coming from lake Ontario for spawning at this time. Easy to get lost, no maintenance for trail, no marks, no signs, but parking enforcement works properly. If you are hiking off trail deep in the forest, parking officers will drive around and CAN'T see you, he will give you a ticket with notes "NO USER IN THE PARK".

Trails not marked well. Easy to get lost. Beautiful scenery, low traffic, watched the salmon swim up stream.

Make your own navigations, you might get lost. Marking is out..

Got way lost.

Trails not clearly marked. Seeing dozens of salmon swimming up stream and jumping some rocks was an Interesting surprise.

We pulled up and there was a guy in a mask standing on the bridge at the entrance. We decided to park and start at the other end of the parking lot to avoid him. Under the next bridge was a needle drop. Based on the pictures I was expecting more trees and greenery but the trail was paved and beside a field and park rather than in a wooded area. Not at all what I was expecting.

Trail backs onto a lot of properties, garbage everywhere especially along the ravine. Homeowners who back onto the trail had their dogs offleash on trail. Not fun when one of yours is reactive!

Paved path with yellow painted line. Creek accessible at points for pooch to have a drink. Very easy walking/biking path. Not bad for something right in town!

Great trail. Very clean, garbage in all the garage bins, nicely trimmed trail. Highly recommend.

I did not love this trail. tried it out to see but it was not very senic, and was short and super super easy. I bet it would be cooler when they are harvesting the maple syrup

Used to be a fun spot to ride bikes and explore the creek back in the early 90’s, now the woods are full of dangerous drug addicts and homeless people. These trails used to be maintained, grass cut, tree debris picked up. Now it’s overgrown, full of garbage and used needles. Only the brave or addicted wander these trails now.

New to this app. First tip should be, though it should be common sense, bring bug spray! Gorgeous trail but didn’t get far because of the mosquitos (my dog hates them more than I do). Also, the trail said turtles. I didn’t see turtles.

Great trail I didn’t know I had such a lovely place near me. There are tons of wandering paths, I’d like to put up signs to help direct people on 15min or 30min hikes. The tiny official trail that was originally created is not distinguishable anymore due to all the other worn paths, which is good to me, now I think I could find a trail that could take an hour to complete.

Fun Waterfront Trail, lots of birds and a great view of Lake Ontario

not completely closed but there is flooding

Awesome little trail in the middle of Oshawa. Despite Oshawa’s reputation there are some beautiful pockets of nature to enjoy.

This trail is great for beginners or those with injuries. It was a little concerning to see a needle deposit bin at the start of the trail... There were a few tents most likely inhabited with homeless people, and a lot of garbage laying around. We saw a few people drinking alcohol on the sides of the trail, they kept to themselves thankfully. You will see quite a few people on motorized scooters but they are respectful of trail etiquette. We saw very little wildlife. (a few squirrels and ducks) Overall it's a decent trail if you aren't looking for a challenge

Wasn’t long at all. Had to venture off the trail to get any hiking done.

Nice little trail. Pretty short.

Nice trail. Good for a lil jog and to take pics in the morning. I went during a week day about 8 am. Sketchy characters and homeless in couple parts of the trail. Reassuring to see other runners and walkers on the trail considering I’m from out of province. Goes through couple schools as well.

I love it
