Nice walk around the island.

Amazing place to hike. If you are nature’s fan this is the place. But do check the weather before u go n stay hydrated...

Went here end of October last year. Only one other person on the trail! It was absolutely incredible, I had no idea Ontario was so beautiful. A must see

Good hike with some really nice views

Should be noted that you’ll need reservations to hike in the Cypress Lake area and the trail is fairly busy. You can make reservations ahead of time online or on the phone with Parks Canada. Cost per car is $17 including parking and entrance fee. If you don’t make reservations ahead of time, chances are you’ll be able to make the 530 to 930pm. Great place to bring a family, not really any difficult hikes in the area.

did the 15km, no regrets

Great hiking! Definitely want to come back in the fall!

Great little hike!

Love the rough terrain and the elevation that gives you the best look outs but you have to be really cautious if you are going in spring as snow makes it way more difficult and dangerous

Great little trail to do as part of the glass bottom boat and shipwreck tour. Easy for my then 8 year old and still a nice walk for us old people.

We visited this island a few years ago . Kind of costly if your just going for a hike . I could not believe all the garbage that people had left , it was disgusting . Wildlife way too friendly , actually pestering us for snacks . Lots of snakes , had to watch our step in spots . Other than the garbage it was nice .

An amazing trail with stunning views. Trails are well maintained. A lot of elevation changes. Bring water and snacks for sure as well as proper footwear. If planning on doing the whole loop leave early as to finish with some day light.

When we went the hiking was good for the majority of the trail. The cave was closed, light house closed as was the trail to the light house. So 3✡ is all I can give.

Great half day/day trip. The water is beautiful!

Amazing trail ... very rough terrain. Make sure to leave enough time to complete the loop in the daylight.

Very beautiful hard hike, rough terrain but the look out points are well worth it!! Breathtaking

Beautiful hike and great view of Georgian Bay. I've hiked in a lot of places and didn't expect the moderating of this hike. Definitely a fun one and very scenic.

Great views!

It was a gorgeous day. Couldnt have asked for a better day. Aside from scaling the side of a cliff, I'd hate to see a "hard" trail from those rating this as moderate... I'd say that my family is quite fit and this trail proved to be a hard one. A lot of trecherous paths, roots, and rocks. The scenery was absolutely stunning and well worth the 5 hour drive for us. Because it was such a long drive we were only able to hike a small portion of the trail and we were out on it for 6 hours. Definitely would go back and finish it.

Really nice hike. Wish it was 5 times longer.! :-). Good varied terrain and beautiful scenery.

If you like beautiful Georgian bay this trail is for you. Although it's rated as moderate, l found this trail extremely tough on my almost 60 year old body. lt"s an very rugged trail full of rocks , roots and very hilly. You're constantly up and down. Follows the lake on a good part of the trail with a ton of beautiful scenic views. Took me 6 hrs to travel the 10 miles; my fitness counter counted 31, 800 steps and 28 km. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will tackle it again this fall when the leaves change. If you have any problems with your knees this is definitely not for you. I also wouldn't recommend doing this hike in the rain, you're navigating over stone most of the trail and it would be quite slippery. You don't want to fall on this trail.

Quite nice location. Worth the trip

Nice, sometimes narrow and rough.

This Trail was perfect for all levels with Beautiful Scenery!

Very nice moderate trail, beautiful, well marked. Perfectly challenging and rewarding for my first hiking adventure! Had a Lifestraw but water sources are not readily available..would definitely carry more next time. also water shoes if you plan on going in the lake.

An excellent day hike taking 6-7 hours to complete due to the challenging footing on the trail. Side trails can be used to shorten trail distance. Note that few sections of the trail are flat earth. Most involve walking over and around limestone rocks. Elevation is easy/moderate. None of the cliff lookouts have guardrails. The trail is very well marked. During the summer, the trail see more activity from climbers than hikers and they only use the portion from Moore Rd. to Lion's Head itself. As of June 2017, a short portion of the trail along the lake shore is flooded due to high lake levels requiring going barefoot over some painful rocks. Water shoes or trail runners that can get wet are recommended.
