Nice walk, but high traffic and some areas with mud. I did this trail with my 4-year old daughter without any problem.

One of my favourite Ontario trails!

Have done this trail many times. It’s my favourite trail closest to Toronto! Hiked it yesterday, road is closed during the winter so add 2km each way to your hike. The sign at the trailhead says the trail is 10km but every time I have done it my devices have shown around 13km. In the snow yesterday it was about 16.5 km and took us 6 hours. Winter hiking is not my thing, but the trail is still fantastic! Highly recommend!

Amazing views at the lookout.

Finished the loop with 5 hours. Beautiful view made the whole hiking full of exciting. Very wet and uneven surface, rain boots or waterproof boots could be more helpful.

First half is best. Turn back at stop 5 for a good 2 hour hike. Took 4 hours to do the whole thing

We finished the trail in 4 hours including stopping for pictures and breaks. The view is stunning.

Took 4 hours to complete the loop from car park - including breaks along the way. The ridges are beautiful and can be seen throughout the trail. There are various types of terrain, wet and uneven surfaces which makes this hike more challenging but it's not difficult. Proper footwear (trail running shoes or hiking boots) helps a lot.

Really neat scenery and interesting history but a very simple trail. Virtually no elevation change and most of path is wide and clear.

The best trail on the highway 60 corridor in Algonquin. Beautiful vantage points overlooking the park.

Moderate to difficult hike. Took my husband and I 4 hours to complete. We went at a moderate pace but stopped a decent amount of times for long periods to take pictures and enjoy the views. We went the day after it rained so it was extremely muddy which I found made it more difficult. Lots of ups and downs but the views are well worth it!! the best views are towards the end of the loop.

Absolutely outstanding views!! Well worth it!

I did this trail in the fall when the colours were at their peak. The views from all the look out points were amazing. By far the best day hiking trail in Algonquin but not an easy one. Be sure to bring plenty of water and some food.

One of our favourites in Algonquin Park.

Nice walk around the lake. Ideal for a bit of animal watching. I loved the boardwalk out in the sun that allowed to cross the swamped areas. Not much traffic in late April, but my guess is, it must be heavily traveled later in the season!

Hiked from Mew Lake campground on the old railroad trail. Highly recommend. This is a long and peaceful trail along lakes and through great northern hardwood forest. It took me 10 hours with breaks, lunch, and photography. Very good bird watching as well. Lots of bear and moose tracks and scat, but no sightings.

I like the Spruce Bog boardwalk trail for the birdwatching (first time I've ever seen Grey Jays!), and the fact that it's accessible to all. I went during the early spring (late March) when there was still snow on the ground and while it was relatively busy, it was still enjoyable as a family outing with young kids.

Peck lake is 1.9km in the summer and 2.3km in the winter. They do not plow the full parking lot in the winter. This is a very easy loop with several view points of the lake. It's great if your looking for an easy trail for young kids

This is the best day hike you can get in Algonquin Park. The views are amazing. Take some water and snacks. The trail is not easy.

Nette kleine Wanderung. Lange Treppe im Wegverlauf, vom Aussichtspunkt schöner Blick. (der Turm existiert nicht mehr, man sieht nur die Stelle wo er stand).
