Beautiful trail. Starts off rocky and can be quite slippery due to the moss/roots. Trail weaves through various blends of forest types which keeps things interesting. Look out at the crest of the escarpment is well worth the incline to get there. Most of the trail is easy but parts are more moderate.

very nice, well maintained trail. had a great time with family.

Nice variety in the scenery and a bunch of trails to choose from. Our first hike we used their trail map, not the GPS, and found out way through the common trails relatively easily. Views are great and lots of other amenities/activities within the conservation area.

Nice experience!

nice trail that's full of mixed levels trails. definitely not for families with young kids. good signage at the start but then trails split and things get confusing due to lack of signage. certain parts definitely require skill and proper gear.

Beautiful trails! Also really easy to access the rattlesnake point trails from here.

Kelso reminds me of a smaller Blue mountain but with a man made lake and beach. The hiking trails and great, some made for biking but really nice and mainly inside a dense forest. We walked 13 km all around the trails and will come back again soon.

It was ok for boating not for hiking

great place not busy was able to get over 10 k hike in. will likely go again. maybe try MTB.

Lots of mosquitos but that’s just part of the great outdoors!

Great trails that are well maintained. Easy to combine with Rattlesnake point trails and hit all the lookouts together. Moderate inclines going up the Nassagaweya Trail to the Rattlesnake section. Bruce trail section between Crawford Lake and Rattlesnake pleasantly quiet.

There were tons of muddy parts but that’s to be expected this time of year. Really nice trail and nice, long boardwalk! Very peaceful and serene.
The have a fee booth set up, honour system kinda deal. Lots of parking

Well maintained walk and amazing views of the lake. Can’t wait to go in the summer! Did a 4km route of our own but hoping to tackle the 9.4km (one direction not a loop) route!!!!! Great parking and ablution facilities.

Great hike, cool boardwalk around the lake. Make sure you check out the long houses.

My Girl Guide group signed up for the Moonlight Snowshoe Hike. We all had a great time and enjoyed the guided hike complete with owl calls and coyote howls!

Did it today for my first mountain biking experience. I was amazing. Navigating would have to improve but I'm up for the challenge.

Very easy but nice!

Amazing trail! I ran the trail test there today but what I would say is that I disagree with the difficulty. It's certainly not an easy trail. I would say it's moderate to difficult. I live near Dalewood Conservation Area and do that trail all the time. It is rated moderate and it is far easier than this trail. Not for beginners.

We followed the directions for the trail head through this app and it took us to the summit entrance where there were lots of trail options. However, we wanted to be closer to Kelso Lake beach so we had to drive down to the other side of the conservation area. We parked and did the Escarpment Trail which ends in an impressive look out point. We did this hike with my 5.5 yo and our 2.5 yo in the hiker pack. The walk up the (ski) hill to the trail is pretty intense (especially with a 30lb toddler in a pack! bring water!) but the view is totally worth it. My 5 yo loved it, especially all the turkey vultures soaring so close. Great hiking day!

Good for a quiet walk. There are tons of mosquitoes as it's a marshy trail. Highly recommend wearing long sleeve clothing. The weeping willows are great to have a picnic under.

Great place. Beautiful sculptures.

Always a great hike at Crawford Lake!

Trail mostly in the forrest, lots of black flies on a humid day. Otherwise, nice easy hike.

Pretty easy and simple hike but I was pleasantly surprised by the view once we got up the escarpment. Would definitely go back with a different friend or at a different time like fall or at sunset.

Trails are great, well marked and groomed, though a bit too manicured for my tastes. Awesome spot for beginners!
