Short and Sweet

This is my go-to hiking spot in London. I park in the lot at Commissioners and Adelaide and do a loop around the nearest pond (about 3 km in all). Takes me about 35-50 mins depending on the day, now that I know my way around. Took closer to an hour when I first started hiking there. Lovely respite within the city!

one of most beautiful trails in London Area. Surprised, I saw three little snakes within two trips in fall.

Quiet hike. Was disappointed with the road signs. Had to resort to Google Maps to return. A green traffic pole is seen near Bridle Path(near entrance of Killaly Meadows Trail) with no signs atop. Perhaps the concerned authorities could look into this.
Breathtaking views of the Thames River.

Really nice trail but only road parking.

it's a good trail I walk it a few times a week

My favourite trail to run and hike in the area. Well groomed for the most part with some wildlife perks every so often.

Lovely trail! As others have mentioned, the down side is the long walk through the suburbs, back to the parking. We have done it two other ways: one where we turn around after an hour or so to walk back through the forest, the other where we have left our bikes at the other end to bike back to the car. Both worked great!

An excellent trail to run early in the morning. This is a good challenge with its many ups and downs. Probably a little bit challenging if you're in the black and get to the paved roads but keep your head up and you can find the trail markers.

The directions for this trail on this app is horrible. It kept directing us to residential areas with no entrance to the actual trail. That definitely needs to be fixed. I had to google search this trail to find a way into it.

Rode these trail for 30 years , love it nice mix of riding.

Great trail, maybe my new favorite in london. Well kept trail. However there is no designated parking, and the long walk back to my vehicle. Will hike here again

Just completed this trail with my 12 year old son. Good trail, marked well by following the blue hiking paths. Love the emergency markers along the trail. Took us 2 hours to bike, stopping along the way. The pro bikers were very courteous, calling out.."passing on the left" and if we were stopped they asked if everything was ok. Bring plenty of water, there is no fill stations along the way. Will be back soon.

A beautiful little walk, but very short and not much of a hike.

The diverse shrub and flower species, as well as the hilly terrain, make this trail very aesthetically pleasing. A true gem in the middle of a busy city!

We hiked some of this trail with my 2.5 year old. It's a good easy trail but lots of the marking have faded or are none existant. We took a wrong turn at one point and had to back track adding 20 minutes into our hike.
Overall a nice trail, no garbage and lots of boardwalks over muddy or elevated areas.

marking is poor but good ride overall

This trail is pretty big for being in the city. If you dont know it, you could end up getting list. A few ponds, to fish and and take pictures.

Great trail to hike on especially in fall. Lots of little side trails as well.

Nice view of the water areas. Took me about 2-2.5 hours to walk at a casual pace. Easy paths with occasional benches to rest on.

Very nice trail. Width of the trail varies greatly, but elevation changes keep the trail very refreshing.

We did a loop through the park and stayed on the paved paths. Another time we will explore the side trails. We were unaware of the connection the park area has with the War of 1812.

love this trail during all seasons

Really easy trail almost entirely on boardwalk, fun for young kids as there is a big pond at the end. If you want there are lots of side trails to explore

Lovely trail. Very shaded. Easy except does have quite a few hills. I did what one other reviewer said, which was turn around when the trail popped out of the woods. Make for just over 12km, took about 3 hours.

Great trail. Only sad part was the long walk back to my car!

Good trail overall. During the week it’s very quiet - you might see one other person. Trail is easy to follow and there’s plenty of tree cover for hot days. There is some overgrowth that you have to duck under/around mid-trail but nothing crazy (I do it with a baby carrier on). Nice views, peaceful setting, easy hike.

Love this trail. Lots of variety and a good trail for running. Lots of off-shoot trails, so had to back track a couple times.
