Some steep parts, some parts of the trail are poorly marked. Bugs were horrible.
Beautiful trail though. So many areas with amazing scenery. Wonderful views of the bog and lakes. Lots of variety of terrain, but easy to get though.

After thanksgiving weekend the park closes but if you bring a bike you can bike around the park and do all the trail Toronto free!!! This is a great trail with tons of board walks. During a wet summer a lot of the trail is closed. However if you do it in the winter or a dry summer the whole trail is open.

Very diverse Terran and not too difficult. Too bad it’s not being maintained anymore. It was the first time my wife and I came across a bear on a trail. Great experience!

this was a challenge for sure! start at the sportsman lodge dock only the other access is poorly marked. trail is not maintained but many of the weathered trail markers can be spotted. this is a good 3.5 hour hike over very challenging terrain.

Great hike with beautiful views. Lots of variety and somewhat challenging in spots with steep climbs and descents, though short, and very rocky and many tree roots to watch out for. I would only consider this hike easy in comparison to The Crack which I hiked yesterday, otherwise, I would give it a moderate.

Very pretty little hike, good beginner trail if you don't mind a little elevation. Lots of sections were covered in ice but as long as you don't mind going around and getting creative its fun.

Fantastic. Great views.

we did the canoeing and hikin tour from bell lake. the first 3 km hiking were pretty easy, the next 2 km were mostly climbing over rocks and treeroots. but once you get up, it was totally worth it.

Great little hike. Very pretty out on the rocks around the bog.

Closed. Make sure you call ahead this trail is privately maintained and wasn't open when we made the trip. You also need to take a boat across (only costs $3) but we were told that it was a swamp and we would be up to our wait in marsh.

easy hike, though bugs and swamps can be a nuisance. Can be extended to Acid Lake, Cave Lake and Topaz Lake, though hiking time will increase to 9 hours. Will try next time. For details refer to Killarney Park map.

Canoe in from David lake to a very open obvious clearing to the west of the point which used to be old campsite 104. You'll follow the portage to Boundary lake make sure to head east when the trail splits. You'll get to the top of two little peaks and see the largest cairns I've ever seen in my life. If your filling up water the only access point is boundary lake as further down its a dried up lake. The major climb starts at the main junction from there you'll be rewarded with fantastic views that kind of come out of nowhere. Make sure grab the geocache under the rock at the peak

This is my favorite place to canoe and kayak. Ishmael, Helen, and Low lakes make a great daytrip from McGregor Bay. The hike up Baldy is great too.

Great trail completed in 2011 with my son and beat friends, be prepared to work hard on this hike and pack light, I suggest power bars for energy boosts and a good water purifier. Best view and worth the hike.
