All the trails are really beautiful - you can choose your adventure: short walk or long hike around the island.

I hiked trail A with my parents. Very nice hike, lot of lookouts and different terrain to enjoy. Even if we thought we could get lost at one point, it's impossible once you've understood that each trail (there are many) will connect to loops A&B at one point. I got confused because loop A is not on the app. Some signs can be confusing sometimes.

Great little trail system that goes all along the water with little scenic off-shoots. Lots of places to swim (at least in 2018 when the water was low) so bring your suit on a hot day. With the number of different trails you could make this as short or as long as you like.

There are also some neat points of interest, in particular the spirit trees. However, an environmental suggestion: please don’t leave your man-made junk at the foot of the spirit tree as an offering. If you feel compelled to leave something rather than leave the trail as you found it then please make it something that is a timeless offering that fits the spirit of the trail - a rock you painted; a note you etched on a piece of bark you found; a leaf snipped into the shape of an animal; or a small inuksuk. Nobody, including the spirits I’m sure, thinks your trash, plastic items, or manufactured toys and crap are a particularly great spiritual gift. If someone travelling this path could not have gifted it hundreds of years ago then don’t gift it now. I’m pretty sure the spirits don’t think all our industrial churn-out is particularly uplifting.

Excellent family activity with plenty of variety of scenery. Did A & B loop took two hours and fourth minutes

1:40hr to do loop A. It is well shaded for most of it with nice views (which include hydro lines) of the lake all along the trail. Lots of locals on perhaps daily walks. Dogs seem to be common. I enjoyed this walk with my mom. We took a couple breaks to sit, take in the views and have a snack. I will do this one every year I visit!

Beautiful trail! So much to see and great view of the lake.

We completed loop A (couldn’t find it on the app) and it took us about 2 hours with a few short stops throughout. The trial was in great condition and pretty well marked. There were a couple other trails you could follow that led to different things (lookout point, falls, etc) and many places you could stop and swim at or rest. Overall, it was a good workout but still enjoyable and easy to follow. Would recommend!

It was a great hike. Great trails and beautiful scenery! A must for all ages.

Beautiful scenery! Trail was nice, rocks and roots exposed so watch your step. Many nice places to stop to enjoy lunch.

Beautiful views and even ran into a fox on the scenic loop. There's alot more trails than this app shows, enjoy exploring!
