Meh. A short hike through forest. Glad I had bug repellant.

Perfect for kids. Not hilly, lots of variety in what you see. Places to sit every few hundred meters. Reasonable chance of seeing turtles or frogs. Signs explaining the environment every few hundred meters. Outhouse near the trail head. Picnic tables and a covered area not far from the trail head.

Beautiful. Lovely place. Will definitely go back.

This is my favourite trail in the east end of Ottawa (so far!). So I give it 5 stars (for Ottawa). The boardwalk is a nice loop and its fun to spot all the animals in the water (frogs, turtles, bugs). Its also a calm place to walk in the winter. The bog itself is interesting in that apparently its rare for this type of bog to be this far south.

A nice, quiet albeit not spectacular trail. Typical mixed forest in the Ottawa greenbelt. Saw and fed a few chickadees, which my daughter loved, and I think this may be a birding area. Very flat. No complaints!

The road it very bad 1 km from the parking lot to the trail you can't go over 10km/hr. Beautiful trail for season changes. If you bring seeds birds will eat from your hands!

This is a pleasant trail for all seasons. If you head to the boardwalk the dogs aren't allowed, however if you select the trail which parallels the access road towards Anderson Road dogs on leash are welcome except during the winter months.
