Nice easy trail with view of river then rapids. Some muddy area. Great family walk, easy access from campground.

Cute short trail going against the lake. Path is soil with roots.

Great hike for the family, though the second half of the loop was quite muddy from all the rain we had during our visit.

Great quick trail with the little one! :) A bit muddy in the middle but a perfect summer hike.

Love the gentle morning hike and the beauty of the falls. Well worth the hike for all.

the hike would've been nice if it weren't for the deer flies and mosquitoes! would be really pretty in the fall

There is a 137 metre (450 ft) section of the trail that floats on Hunters Bay. The floating part of the trail is an ideal place to swim or fish from, or to tie up a boat and walk along the trail. There are small pull-offs along the trail to stop and enjoy the scenery including Orchard Park at the southern tip of the bay, which looks down the full length of the bay. The trail is easy to moderate in level of difficulty. Parking is also available at Avery Beach Park, on the lake side of Yonge Street. The park also has a swimming area, volleyball sand court, dock, and boat launch ramp
