Easy and a lot to see.

We always go during the dry season so we don't have trouble with water. The trail is different every time as new things pop up and wash out. Multiple routes and paths to take between the lookout portion with drop offs, hiking along the ravine, or following the path. I have done all but the section with drop offs with kids and they enjoyed the challenge.

Nice trail. Hilly with beautiful views. Was muddy and icy today and by April it will be even better.

This is one of my favorite trails in my area! I have hiked this more times than I can count! It is a great gorge for photography season round.

it was a great trail in the fall.

Had the intention to go hike last Saturday since the weather was beautiful!

We asked where the orange or any trail that’s usable start. Since when I phoned ahead I was told the red and the orange are only ones good for hiking.

The staff replied “oh I don’t know” others “I don’t have map to guide you”

We did no hiking. Just did the maple town syrup pancake. Pretty sad looking breakfast if you ask me for 8.75 small meal 1 pancake 1 sausage 2 oz of maple syrup and a small hot drink be hot chocolate or apple cider which was instant not the real thing either. Cheaper to have a breakfast somewhere else.

Let’s hope the staff in the spring are more knowledgeable and the and it’s has better signage.

this trail is perfect when you want to go on a walk that is more than just a walk. There are several challenging areas, including some steep areas that can be tiring. My husband and I walk this trail a couple times a year and it is always beautiful. Also a great spot for professional photos (family, engagement)!

-5C and sunny. Beautiful winter day for Family Day. Hiked the Chippewa Trail. Icy trail with fresh powder snow about 5cm in depth. Required Microspikes for the hike today.

There were so many off-leash dogs in the parking lot we left.

-5C with windchill -14C and overcast. Trails were icy and Microspikes were required. Needed to bushwhack up the escarpment from Redhill Creek.

it's a beautiful trail, very well marked I never got lost in this trail although this app says it's 10.3k out and back which it is not. I ended up doing almost 18k out and back so be prepared for that! I would say this is moderate in winter time with the snow and ice but it is an easy trail overall.

Amazing trail. Short. Beautiful. Near the city. Well used (which is great)! More difficult in the winter but still so nice.

Nice little short winter hike on the a
beautiful trail to the waterfall. Nice winter wonder land view of all the trees and river leading up to the waterfall. Perfect for dogs and kids. The waterfall
is absolutely beautiful with all the frozen icicles and snow. Can’t wait to come back in the summer for even more pretty views!

660 steps to the top and back! Great for year round, no good for dogs

Great wildlife, peaceful, very easy access.

Nice, wide and well maintained trail. It is well used so a bit busy with joggers and bikers even early in the morning. The loop was convenient with a possibility to extend the hike into other branching trails in the area that are a bit quieter.

well marked and wide trail with plenty of loops. we missed a turn and took a nice stroll down a quiet road for a bit, which was also perfectly pleasant. muddy in the rainy season.

Beautiful hike!

Great trail very scenic and easy enough for beginners

Really interesting land formations...sink holes, caves, karsts. Rain started and we got soaked. Not well marked and we separated and got lost. Happy birthday Tonya :)

Rated 2 - not a hike or walk, the parking lot is 50 meters from the viewing platform. $5 to park, view is amazing but definitely can’t be classified as a trail.
