It's a really easy trail with beautiful look out points along the way that cross into the rattlesnake point trail. there's a shorter trip you can take, ~2.75km, if you don't want to do the whole trail.

A lot of forest to see and a long hike

Great views, easy trail

My go to woodlot. So much to see and do on these trails. 100% recommend. If your new to hiking, keep track of which turns you take and there are many side trails to wonder off to.

Amazing woodlot, lots to see and so many hiking and biking trails. If you want to see some unique landscape with a easy to moderate trail (moderate due to the length of trails and connection to other trails) Ive heard porcupines and coyotes here, seen tree frogs, spring peepers, deer and foxes. biting bugs can be VERY BAD in the spring. Bug spray wont do anything to stop the clouds of mosquitos. So if you dont like getting bit, wait until bug season is pretty well over or go on a day thats cool and rainy.

Beautiful setting. Loved the sound of the water gushing by both sides of the trail. If you want a very quick easy walk and feeling the closeness to nature, you'll love it here.

Hiked 15km around the forest, thankfully the AllTrails app kept me on the right path, as once you’re off the Bruce Trail it’s not too hard to take a wrong turn! Many side trails (some hiking or biking only) also some No Trespassing signs to look out for. Very light traffic too.

Nice quick hike

Been coming here since I was a child, great hike. The full beaver damn trail - hilton falls - bears bathtub route will take you about 4 hours at a leisurely pace.

Great trail to go with your dog! Nice easy elevations and well kept trails. Everything is VERY well marked and is very clean. $20 entry for three adults. The Hilton falls loop is a bit busy but once you get onto beaver dam trail it gets quieter. Watch out for bikers and share the trail!

Beautiful area, with TONS of side trails that you can connect to make this as long (or as short) as you’d like. A fair bit of snow when we went but there were still plenty of bikers out on the trail, as well as a few hikers and dogs. Easy terrain throughout and well marked trails. Would absolutely come back again!

Love this place! Been here twice now and hiked over 10km each time. If you get on the bike trail it is 7km long and narrow but great if you want to get off the main paths. Nice little water fall in the middle of the park. Ample parking and washrooms.

The Halton Regional Forest trails are easy - very few elevation changes and flat gravel. The conservation area trails are accessible through the Regional Forest Britton Tract trailhead if you don't want to pay for parking at the conservation area. There are some single track side trails that are more moderate or hard as well.

There's a middle section in this figure 8 pattern trail where you go on the Bruce trail. Pretty rocky but not too hard. Maybe not best for beginners.

Not exact route I took, but close enough. Most major trails are gravel roads, but if you want to go through scenic route with winding trails and rock-jumping paths, take Bruce Trail route.
Has a few campfire sites along the route that is maintained (and apparently fired-up for your convenience) by park staff, where you can catch a breath and picnic.Tables are included.
Come early, if you don't want to park on the side of the road, despite large parking lot.
