Nice walk to the lake. Can walk along the river or go through the forest. Not too busy during the week. Easy walk and it’s not far.

If you love seeing wildlife and as many puppers as possible - this is the perfect hike for you! Variety of routes to take and a couple friendly faces too!

The trail is closed at about the 1Km mark for construction until November. You can continue along a small trail by the river for a while, and it will meet up with the hard packed trail again at about the 4Km point. The trail on the other side of the river which goes through the Cutten Club is vey nice.

Most of the trip from Limehouse to Guelph is great! the first section from 5th to 4th Line in Limehouse is pointless, and not well marked as it seems to have changed recently. The trail is amazing once your passed 4th. Also, there are two significant sections where you need to travel on the road, one may be temporary as the land which contains the intended route has recently changed ownership, the other is terrible, but a few kms on the road is a small price to pay for the rest of the journey! The wife, dog and I went from Limehouse to Starkey Hill in 7 and a half hours of leisurely hiking! enjoy!

This was my favourite place to walk/run during my undergrad. Very accessible and so many different trail paths to explore. Well shaded which makes it a very cool place to go for a run on a hot summer day. Busy spot though! You’ll always see other people

Very nice place, usually very busy.
But other than that, once you get into the forest area it’s beautiful.

I have done sections of this trail and love it. It is marked well.

Great trail, we really enjoyed our experience. We weren't sure what to expect when we first arrived but it was a pleasant surprise.

think more of an easy hike. very cool. lots of dogs in the beginning.

Wonderful rail trail! Other than the few km's of road trekking it is a marvellous 40 km through forests and fields . Occasionally the trail blazes were sparse or difficult to find.

Good spot for dog walking.
And the trail continues east of Victoria road all the way to stone road, via the river/railway.
