Nice little trail. I would consider this easy and not moderate. I decided to also do the beaver trail loop for more of a challenge.

What a trail! It starts with a steep climb uphill, but you are rewarded with some spectacular views of the lake. Up and down beside the lake, be careful not to slip on some of the steeper portions of the trail. The good stepping spots are juuuust far enough apart to make it tricky. We completed Loop 2, and it was pretty overgrown. Most of this section of the trail was waist high bush with a narrow path, but the path was still very easy to follow.

Great little trail for a quick walk with the dog. The wood bridge and pathway are awesome!

If you’re looking for some real wilderness, this trail is it! It’s well-marked and offers some nice views and some really great stops. However it’s incredibly overgrown! Constantly having to push through plants and bushes for 15 km takes quite the toll. It would even take quite experienced hikers 6 hours just due to the conditions. If you’re up for a long kinda challenging hike I’d recommend it. (Also tons of wild blueberries along the way)

A short climb to a nice lookout then you descend to the two point trail loops. Loop one is more forested than loop 2 which has more shoreline trail. Both are a little overgrown at the time of year. Beautiful views of the lake and wildlife. Excellent trail if you are looking for something shorter than the full lake loop but with the similar views.

Barely even a trail- a short climb and then we were in a construction zone. Do not recommend.

A great trail for our family. There was enough of a climb to make it feel like we got some exercise, without being too steep or technically challenging to hike with a baby strapped to my chest. There were lots of lookout points which made the walk feel very rewarding, too!

Well maintained trail, great scenery! Mosquitos are plentiful in the shaded areas right now (early July). Easy trail for dogs but beware the boardwalk is narrow (for those that need their space).

Super great outing for Canada Day! Was a little bit surprised by the rockiness because the elevation and ‘difficulty level’ rating of the trail portrayed it to be so simple. Not overly difficult though! A few wet/muddy spots so don’t wear white shoes or your favourite ones! Amazing views, not too busy for a shorter trail :)

I do this trail on my daily run. Well maintained and packed nicely in the winter

Trail is completely flooded between the film studio and where the trail splits between the parallel upper and lower sections. This has been the case every time I've hiked this trail. There are two other great options to go around the flooded area. This a lovely nature trail along the marsh!
