The Main Loop is a gravel path through lovely forest and meadow environments. There are a few fairly steep climbs but overall should be very manageable for most hikers.

Lots of trails to customize your day or days. Well maintained and very clean.

great trail to take an intermission from the Chedoke stairs.

I thought the trail was great.

This hike is fairly challenging. The full summit loop is actually 3.9 km and features some difficult terrain in spots. In some places you have to climb rocks. We brought my 5.5 month old lab puppy, he loved the adventure. There were some places that were too vertical of a climb for him up the side of rocks, we’d have to have one of us go up and the other lift him up for that person to grab him. I suggest if you bring your dog, also bring another person. Great view at the summit, it was nice to see the fall colours. The hike took us about 2.5 hours which included about a 20 minute rest at the top to take in the views.

Great view, but you must pay to park.

I really thought it was beautiful

Walked north half of the trail. Nice and fairly easy trail with few neat side trails to explore along the way. The trail is paved for a big part of it.

Unfortunate not a trail any longer. People with property surrounding this trail have put up fences and no longer provide access to the trail.

My dog and I have spent many mornings running this trail, it is a staple for us!
