Great Hike with Amazing views at the top. Would recommend canoeing to the trail head at the end of Bell though.

Rented a canoe from Bell Lake. The employee at Killarney Kanoes gave us some directions and tips. The canoe ride was about 40 min. We started the walk on the trail. Very easy walk that was about an hour. And then we stated the climb. Some areas are tougher than others. We were the only ones at the peak today when we arrived. Spectacular views from the peak. The trek down was a bit tough. We ended our day with Fish and Chios in Killarney.

Good hiking experience. The view at the point is worth the long trek. Waterfalls on rocks along the way make for a pleasant experience.

The trail shown here is actually a combination of the old logging trail and Silver peak trail. The old logging trail isn't maintained and a vast majority of the trail isn't easily done. Portions that are obvious is filled with very dense young and short trees preventing any sort of passage or it's heavily obstructed by fallen trees and dense vegetation. The old logging trail is a dense 5 km to the Silver peak trail. GPS is a must and constant reorienting is needed! I wouldn't suggest this route. We had to turn back after 2 hours on the old logging trail since it took much longer than expected. Use a canoe through Bell lake to the start of Silver Peak trail instead. There's Killarney Kanoes that you can rent from in Bell Lake.

The first 500m or so is not a maintained trail but very obvious. The next 7km or so is very flat pretty wide trail. Once you hit the junction at around 7.5km it starts to climb fairly steeply to a beautiful almost 360 degree view at the top!
