great trail for a work out AND interesting scenery and history on this trail too! Check out an old log cabin on the site of an old logger's homestead... an early settler of the area. Also see the little hamlet of Glen Huron (population 51) and its water powered mill.

Then if you want to make a hike out of it... follow the trail marked difficult (called the escarpment trail I think) up from beside the old mill and follow big loop up and around. The Bruce trail shares some trails with the Devils Glen ski area through here and by staying on the Bruce Trail you can go up and around on top of the escarpment and then come back to the base of the ski area ... before heading back around to the same trail that brings you back to your car.

Really nice! Now I'm going to go read up on Glen Huron and that old mill. Very cool hike. beautiful area.
