September 2018 - a beautiful sunny day with some light wind made the perfect weather for this hike. No bugs, dry conditions, about 15•C and some of the trees were starting to change colours for fall.
This trail has some steep drops and some steep climbs. There are stunning look out points but watch your step and don’t get too close to the edge of the cliffs. The end of the trail that is marked in the app stops abruptly. We came across a cave and we weren’t sure if there were bears or coyotes but it seemed like the train continued past the view on this map. We had a dog with us and she kept up just fine. We heard from other hikers that there were bear sightings so we made a lot of noise as we hiked the trail. We also heard coyotes howling as well. Beautiful hike! Will do it again!

I'd go back for sure. It is pretty busy but that worked in my favour when my license fell out of my pocket and a biker found it and I got it back! Everyone I encountered was incredibly nice. I will say it can get confusing at some of the path intersections with the way they are marked (or unmarked) and the park's maps aren't really great at helping you out. This app was incredibly helpful and I was thankful to have it. Parking is cheaper depending on what lot you start at. I was at the Artaban lot which was $5 but you start and end with a long hill. The views were wonderful though and there is a lot of variety depending on what you are looking for.

Amazing trail

I found this trail pretty boring. It’s not very scenic and it reminds me of a place teenagers would go to get stoned. I was fairly disappointed. It’s not lush and green with a canopy of trees, if that is what you are looking for. It’s a wide path more than a nature walk.

Great views. Should be even better in a week or two. Easy to get to.

Depending on your fitness level and hiking experience I would rate this hike as a mod-hard trail. Absolutely worth the climb for the view. The beginning walkthrough is nice and easy then the climbing begins. A few small climbs and descents until the main climb through the crack up to the viewpoint.

Beautiful day for a hike. Signage at Metcalf was very poor and a few other areas after. Shortly after there is a bit of a ladder that was slightly difficult for my dog.
Parking lot holds about 5 cars but can park on roadside.
Energetic hike took 4 hours including rest and getting turned around.
Need good shoes lots of rocks.

Another amazing trail. If there is one trail you don't want to miss, it is this one. The grotto is amazing so pack a bathing suit. Quite a bit of climbing once you get there.
Not ideal for little kids. Lots of cliffs.

Another amazing trail. Try to make your way down to the water.
Worth the effort.

Great little trail. The glass bottom boat or the zodiac will bring you to the island. Spending as much time as you might need. Lots to explore. Really lovely.

Great family activity. Make sure to have paid at the gate.
This trail really sets you back in time. Lots and lots to discover no matter your age group.
Running shoes are fine.

Absolutely need to check this one out. Make sure to do it off season as there is limited parking. The neighbours have signs indicating not to park on the road. Understandable.
This trail is very well marked. Amazing vista.
Running shoes are fine.

Great little walk. Start off under the Bridge off Centre Street. Follow the trail all the way under the Highway Bridge. Unfortunately there is no loop.
Great little walk. Year round.

Perfect trail for early fall.. some parts in shade and lots of sunshine area.At least two nice spots to rest at the river bank. Highly recommended trail !!!
PS. it is good to park on Fork on the Credit Rd,before Dominion rd, along the road, but watch for the signs, police is patrolling during a weekend .

A great one for a walk to tire out oneself and the dogs. Quite a bit of ground you can cover there. I even got a bit lost. Lots to explore and I spotted some awesome tree climbing and creek exploring opportunities for kiddos.

Nice trail with several lookouts! Quick and easy.

My favourite trail to run and hike in the area. Well groomed for the most part with some wildlife perks every so often.

taken this trail a few times

use this trail daily

Another great trail. During the fall colour season it would be recommended to start early. The earlier you go the more "privacy" you will have. Not too much fun if you are sharing the vistas with a ton of other people. Weekdays are also better.
Hiking shoes and good physical state would be required for the cache lake lookout.
Enjoy

The recorded trail goes off trail at a few spots. Got turned around a bit where Outback trail is supposed to pickup.

Another great trail. Bit steep at times but well worth the climb to the lookout.
Don't forget to show your parking pass while hiking. The park wardens are always on the lookout.

This one is a great hike Year round! Short one but well worth it. Check out the artificial tree at the trail head.
Great for children as well. Lots to look at.
