It was a fairly easy to moderate hike, has a few cut through trails if you want to shorten it. Beautiful gorge, a lot of hiking alongside the river which is always a bonus! I did it with my dog fine but he's good with rocks and inclines/declines which this trail had a lot of all 3. Today certain parts were a little slick probably due to recent rain.

Great short trail. Challenging enough but still so much fun. Our teens flew through it. While we enjoyed all the ups and downs.

Great Trail. Didn’t seem as long as stated. But it was great non the less. We stopped and had a nice trail lunch and painted. Will definitely do it again.

Did this trail yesterday with my two boys (8 and 10). A nice walk with a beautiful view of the gorge. You can grab a map from the parking lot area that will guide you through the historical elements on the trail.

Beware: This is definitely not rated appropriate, as it’s a vigorous trail. It’s absolutely gorgeous and a lot of fun!!

We hiked the history loop or blue trail. It was nearly over grown at parts from being so lightly travelled but it was exceptionally well marked. There are alot of steep rocky climbs but is well worth the effort for the beautiful views. The board at the trail head estimated the trail to take 5-8hrs. The trail took us 6.5hrs hiking with 2 children (boys, ages 9&11) including a half hour lunch break at "The gut" (where there are lots of big frogs for catching and releasing fyi lol) and many, many photo ops stops along the way! I would definately reccomend this trail if you enjoy solitude on your hikes.

Very nice trail with lots to look at. It is only 1.9 kms long and took my daughter and I 50 minutes to do the loop (we kept moving because of bugs and for the workout).

This has the potential to be a nice trail but it needs some heavy maintenance. The boardwalk to get to the viewing platform was blocked by a large downed tree, and the boardwalk itself was falling apart. it was not possible to walk past the boardwalk and we weren't able to finish the trail.

This was a very entertaining trail! There were no boring parts as each step required some focus as you climbed the rocks and branches that made up the little steps on the trail. It didn't take long before you could hear water rushing, which only increased the anticipation of seeing the gorge. Nice quiet trail. It wasn't busy and the bugs were only in the parking lot. Several options to make the hike shorter or longer depending on your preference.

Loved this trail! Brought our two dogs and they had a blast. The River is beautiful and it’s nice hearing the rushing water the entire hike. The trail is very easy to follow. Only downfall were the bugs, make sure you bring bug spray!! The mosquitos were eating us alive the whole time.

Beautiful waterfall. This hike is a must do.

I went a week or two ago and the road in was Gated. hopefully it's open now or will be soon. It was a beautiful place to go.

Trail itself is actually about 2km but during the winter the road going to the parking lot is closed and is about 1.7km. Very beautiful and not too difficult in the winter, waterfall and river don’t freeze over.

Very scenic - gorgeous hike

beautiful scenic trail. approx 1.7 miles long (not 4.5... not sure how that was calculated)

The trail was pretty muddy and there are quite a few places that could use a few trail markers. Definitely need bug spray and plenty of water if you're hiking it on a hot day! The view off the cliff like edge is beautiful! Also several other nice views along wetlands! Lots of frogs

Very well maintained trail! The waterfall is beautiful! The cabin is pretty cool and you can actually check out the inside of it! highly recommended!

When you get to the loop, taking your right would allow you to climb the steep ridges rather than trying to go down them.

Difficult in places but so so beautiful. Did the yellow loop and it was about 3 hours.

Nice hike. Park needs to do a better job maintaining the trail though.

Great trail, just needs a little maintenance where there are fallen trees across the trail.

Quick an easy short hike with nice views of the lake. There is tall grass in sections and a boardwalk across a marshy section with a nice perspective of the wetland bog/marsh.

Lots of variety of terrain and great views. Easy to moderate.

Great trail! Gorgeous views, beautiful pines, and a sweet little waterfall!

Good trail really nice hike listen to the waterfalls the whole way

Directions do not lead you to a trailhead! So follow directions, but once on peddlers dr., you turn right onto Graham, it will bring you to Eau Claire gorge conservation. Follow road to the end. Once there you’ll find a parking lot, picnic tables, maps, and a toilet. Enjoy!!! This is a rare find...this trail is very well tended to but you still feel like you were out in the bush.

You can hear the rushing water from the gorge throughout the trail. Excellent views on this fairly quick hike.
