This Trail is part of the Long Lake Provincial Park, it is an upgraded trail for all users. As it is a provincial park dogs must be on leash and owners must cleanup after their dogs.

Wicked hike. Moderate to difficult terrain. Lots of steep climbs on a well-marked trail. Took us about two hours at a relatively quick pace and two short breaks.

Nice little area in Digby neck right off of the main road. Very clear directions... down haha. A good workout wont take you too long and you get to see a cool little feat of nature at the end.

Nice flat trail you can do a short walk or a long one depending on your mood.
It's out and back easy to navigate with nice views

Nice easy little looped trail, nice scenery and good parking
Also toilets on the way round

Fantastic hike with great views and fun variety of trails (through the woods, over streams, up rocks). Moderately challenging. Can be completed in 3 hours (even at 5.5 months pregnant!). Highly recommended!

Gorgeous views await you on the Skyline Trail, but so do a lot of people. Very heavily trafficked trail, but the lack solitude is worth the views you get on this trail. The loop is a great option and many people just stick to the out-and-back version of the trail (taking a left at the fork).

If you do the loop, you may get lucky enough to see a moose or two (like me) on the more woodsy section. PROTIP: if you're here in the summer, do this trail right after a rain storm. The first part of the loop is boardwalk, so your shoes won't even get wet. And the crowd will be a quarter of what it would be on a perfect day.

You can actually drive this part of the trail if you are so inclined. It leads to a beautiful lake on the plateau and you can continue down the path after visiting the lake to go to Mica Hill. Breathtaking views all around you and you probably will only see a few other hikers. Just be cautious of the weather as you do not want to be on the plateau when a lightning storm rolls through.

Easy trail in the city. Please respect it’s an on leash trail.

Absolutely the most beautiful place in Nova Scotia ❤️❤️

great little trail with scenic lake views. It's pretty wet and icy in early Spring and sometimes washed out.

A nice, short and easy trail! Beautiful little waterfall and nice and scenic!

I’ve hiked on this trail for as long as I can remember, it’s one of my favourites of all time! Such a variety of good trail and hard trail, nothin a good hiker can’t do! Lots of picture perfect spots, you always see at least one other person but it’s never too crazy! All around a great hike, you can go for as long or as short as you want!

Such a cool spot!! Lots to explore and take pictures of, and a little tricky to get to the water because they’ve blocked off quite a bit bit you’ll find the way!

I just checked out this trail for the first time today. There’s something for everyone here. Lots of beautiful scenery, straight easy sections, less groomed areas, and some rivers. It was enjoyable! ☺️

Good and on the harder side and can make it shorter by just going to skull rock which is just off the trail!

Tail is closed. Do not try to use trails

Very picturesque view

A great trail for leisure walks with nature all around

Snow packed today which made it a bit more difficult. Will definitely try again in better walking conditions

Walk this on a fairly regular basis. Dog loves it. Peaceful with beautiful scenery

Comes close to the highway which ruins the quietness of an otherwise pleasant walk.

amazing view. bring a beer to the top to enjoy the hard work. I suggest going up and down the same side. the windy road back down is easier but feels like it takes forever and not scenic at all.

beautifull view. but easy and sometimes croudy

a great spot to walk and see some historic forts, monuments etc. not overly challenging and good for running

Amazing views! Great for snowshoeing or cross country skiing.

bumped into this gem of a trail while hunting for some geocaches! I love these urban parks. beautiful!
