Great short hike with rewarding elevation changes, ocean views, a magical forest, and a few secret paths that you should explore. it is not EASY.. the trail requires rugged shoes, is very uneven in places, and the stones on the beach can be very hard to walk along, watch your step.

Rocky beach, gorgeous cliff views, alternating terrain, inuksuks, mossy forests, a perfect day hike.

Great hike, with amazing views for relatively little effort. Cobble beach to start, check tides. Follow loop clockwise for best impact. Build an inuksuk, swim at a secluded beach.

this trail begins at a lovely beach with good parking and bathrooms! the water is great for swimming and surfing!

walking close to the water on softer sand is very comfortable and pleasent! when the shore turns rocky, head to high ground where there is a beaten path. otherwise the round unstable rocks make for a difficult walk for sure!
the terrain has many changes which really make this hike fun and far from boring! great views, places to sit on ground to rest/lunch, explore off trail along shore, break shale to collect Fool's Gold, swimming holes. there is a place to jump about 30' down into a good pool! but it's also a good place to slip off the edge as you are running for the jump, and break your back on the rocks below! this is also a dangerous spot on the hike for kids who struggle with being aware of their surroundings!
if you take your time to enjoy all this little gem has to offer, it is definitely an easy hike for all. any hike can be made difficult if you rush !!

amazing views. the walk to the trail head along the beach on the Sea stones is not fun, but the elevated views from the point are gorgeous.

Great trail. The first part along the beach is not the best way to start the trail, as it is quite long and not that beautiful... but lots of different paths and views are amazing ! Also not a lot of people so you get time to enjoy the trail on your own !

Beautiful trail. Easily accessible for the whole family. The first portion (the beach) is not representative of all the nice things you can see along the way.

Very nice trail with lots of different terrain and great views, it is quite annoying to get to the trail over the lose pebble beach but doesn’t take too long.

I did this trail 15 years ago with friends and everything I loved and hated about it then still applies.

Wear very supportive footware. This trail has many different types of terrain and having proper footware is a must.

Try and arrive so that you can use the beach to walk on instead of the ankle rolling pebbles. Check the tide times.

The views are spectacular. The ocean puts on a show at every turn.

Just make sure to leave lots of time, bring lots of water and proper food to sustain you and proper footware!

Great day on the trail. Enjoyed with young kids and grandparents. Good for all. Beautiful view and a great place to picnic or enjoy a day at the beach at the end.

Lots of variety for a short hike, should probably aim for around low tide for the beach bit.

This hike starts out on the beach, then meets up with a very well maintained trail! It was foggy when I hiked it, but still a very nice hike.
