amazing view. bring a beer to the top to enjoy the hard work. I suggest going up and down the same side. the windy road back down is easier but feels like it takes forever and not scenic at all.

beautifull view. but easy and sometimes croudy

a great spot to walk and see some historic forts, monuments etc. not overly challenging and good for running

Amazing views! Great for snowshoeing or cross country skiing.

bumped into this gem of a trail while hunting for some geocaches! I love these urban parks. beautiful!

Fell in love with this place . Beautiful view of the waterfall.

Very quiet trail, usually only see about 2 or 3 people each time I go there. My dog loves it and there's a few areas that are just a huge field so I usually bring the brisbee!

Can get pretty windy near the water some days (if you choose to add on Poor's farm road to your hike) but it's beautiful!

Beautiful walk. Steps going down....not so bad. What goes down , must come up. Torture going up those stairs. But....my 80 year old father did it....so, it wasn’t to difficult.

Fun with the kids

Great walk. Was super icy. Stop at the bridge and walk in to the falls there. We keep right on going because the map told us to.

Good spot for a quick hike and beautiful waterfall

Check what kind of hike you're in for! Went in Feb and the entire road was slippery ice. Maybe bring your skates!

Great terrain. Good sized loop for an afternoon hike.

Great trail, great work-out! Well marked and very clean.

Not overly used, poorly marked.

Great winter hike with stunning view! Made me say “wow” out loud coming out of the trees.

My wife and I where here in February, great hike! Super well kept and clean. Washrooms located at the entrance were open. Spectacular views!!

Some newly felled trees across trail on West side of Ash Lake, otherwise in great shape this spring.

This is not a hike - an easy stroll is the pace but the end view is what people come for. Note that it is wheelchair accessible

Beautiful trail - amazing for snowshoeing and a somewhat challenging hike. Entire loop is 10k.

I hiked this trail Saturday February 10, 2018 in the morning. I started around 8 am and it took about an hour to reach the end. There was a bit of snow at the beginning but none at the end. There was a lot of icy areas hidden with a dusting of snow. No animals were sited. I saw a few fresh coyotes and rabbits tracks on the path.

there are two ways to enter this trail, you can enter at the sign on shore drive or take a few side streets up the hill and get in by a sign there at a small dead-end road branching off the street, there are usually cars here so it makes it easier to find. this entryway is best for short trips just to see the view. before you get to the view there is a small path that goes down beneath the cliff that leads into a more open space with the best view of bedford. highly recommend going down this path

Great for easy access, ease of use, maintenance, and scenery.

beautiful walk and view

nice and easy walk

Nice trail system and that has crushed gravel, good for running with several small hills. Close to the road so you hear a lot of traffic, also a lot of dog droppings..

Big payoff!

right where i live! beautiful views (depending which ones you choose) and over 30 km of different trails you can take, with some more challenging than others.
