Awesome hike. Views were spectacular!

A fun trail with nice views. Keep to the spray painted blue markers to find the trail for most of the way. Be prepared for anything though: mud, rocks, boulders, bogs, overgrown trails...and nudists :/
Took me just under 4 hours with a couple stops.

Absolutely stunning ocean views - one of the best hikes in the Halifax area. The white sandy beach is beautiful, but the water is often very cold.

Fantastic views on this trail for the most part. It took me 4.5 hours to complete the whole trail. For last 1 hour or so there was a lot of bushwacking involved and there was some mud. Despite that I would definitely recommend checking out this trail.

Difficult to find some paths. I made a route of my own along paths. I enjoyed it.

Great trail. If you start on the beach someone has spray painted blue squares to help guide you to the point. After the point those squares are gone and it can be hard to find the trail at times and may require some bushwacking.
Phenomenal coastal views and if you go past the point not many people do so you'll enjoy some solitude. Definitely on the top hikes list.

Nice scenery and a great trail. Only loses a star because the marking of the route is not always clear so someone might get easily lost. Great fun and definitely recommend!

Took about 4 hours to complete 10km hike. My favorite trial☺️

Nice trail along a spectacular seashore. Soggy at times but nothing one cannot navigate around. The part that overlaps with the Crystal Crescent beach trail is easier to follow and equally beautiful. To avoid overgrowth and sogginess go to the tip of the peninsula and back. Amazing views ...highly recommended.

I think It's hard for many people. And if going west side of the trail, don't wear shorts. Roads are full with brushes and some part doesn't even have clear path.

Love this hike! Area is stunning! Water is always chillier than other beaches it seems, but beautiful!

Very nice hike though easy to get turned around the trail is not marked in a lot of places.

Wish I had read the other reviewers comments prior to leaving on this trip as I struggled to find a route at the tip.

This trail would be much easier to travel in a counter clockwise direction... the trail markers are sporadic blue dots painted on rocks, but are very difficult to spot travelling clockwise.

All in all was a lovely hike, despite the bog being incredibly wet from the rain. I will be trying this one again in the future!

great hike!

Great loop trail with fantastic atlantic coastal scenery. Trail can become a bit absent in a couple parts, one notably by the large salt water pond near the tip, in which you'll pick up the trail again on the other side by either traversing the rocks on the ocean side or thru the tall grass on the other side of the pond, which could be a bit wet depending on the season. Also if you're doing the trail CCW, the trailhead is not marked with anything but a couple rocks just before it so this is where a previous gps track might help.

Great spot for people, and pets! Lovely place to swim(often cold) with lots of trails.

Fantastic family beach and easy hiking trails along the beautiful Atlantic. A must for everyone to see!
