An easy walk up an old road to an old lighthouse. Hard to get good pictures of the lighthouse as there is a working station attached to it. There's parking for a few cars at the trailhead. Lovely ocean views and not a very busy trail!

Very busy trail and easy to walk past the trailhead. Aside from that this is an easy trail for anyone to walk and the views are absolutely amazing. We saw seals wading in the surf the day we were there. There's lots to explore here so make sure you have a lot of time!

definitely my favorite coastal trail with lots of elements, you will never get bored aha!

This is one of our favorite hikes.Views are amazing and variety of terrain just right

Easy, heavily used trail with great views of the rugged coastline. We were lucky enough to see 10 to 12 seals playing in the surf breaking around several rocky islands just offshore. Private property so be respectful. It's also a nature preserve so minimize your impact!

My favourite hike. Beautiful views and lots of opportunity for adventure.

Fantastic hike! Highly recommended... Bring your camera!

Great hike! Beautiful views all the way, gorgeous fauna and lots of places to stop and let the dogs have some water. Loved the variation of trail from open flat rocks to short steep stints to deep forest and windy trails through lush plant life. Our dogs had no problem with this hike, just took it slow to allow for breaks and water. 3 hrs round trip with our breaks.

Great views along the entire trail. Some boggy areas, but managed not to ruin my boots. Some steep climbs and ascents. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear. Entrance to trail can be confusing. Weathered sign says ‘Private Property’ and there is a low gate to hop over.

We saw sea lions just off the shore. Trail is quite muddy in parts!

Really enjoyed this trail. Not overly challenging and beautiful views of Nova Scotia’s rugged coastline. Will definitely be back to do this hike over, and over again.

Amazing trail, with a wide verity of scenery it has something for everybody, and depending on how brave you are, many small rock beaches to explore

Beautiful hike with stunning views!!! Terrain can be a bit muddy/soggy so make sure to have good footwear!

Absolutely beautiful hike. You will see waves crashing on the shore, rolling hills, woods, cliffs and even bunkers that were built for WWII. The scenery is breath-taking. Use a little caution and be sure to wear proper hiking shoes as there are a few areas of difficult terrain.

This was a spectacular hike! The view!

Once you get to the abandoned ww2 observation station, you must turn around. There is a 1000 foot long boulder wall beyond, with a number of No Trespass signs. If you stray, you will be on private property and damaging vulnerable flora and interfering with wild life that the owners are feeding and encouraging. Please respect the flora and fauna and turn back to Duncan's Cove. Yuu'll be surprised at the new things you see on the trip back to where you started!

Very nice trail, a good work out !

Beautiful views and great terrain...definitely one of my favorites! :-)
