Absolutely awesome. Had my six year old ride along side for 16kms and my three year old in a bike trailer all the way to Lawrencetown beach. My wife stayed with the kids while I rode back to Bissett Lake to get the car. Great day!

Great biking trail! Scenic, well-groomed. Came out at Lawrencetown Beach - fantastic spot to stop and rest and then turn around and head back. Love it!

Great views. Must do! Cycling only otherwise won’t see anything

Definitely preferred biking over walking it!

Slight elevations. Smoothe. Fairly busy - walking, running and biking. All very accommodating. I enjoyed biking on this trail! Lots of birds and squirrels.

Great trail for on leash dog walking. Tons of other people around

Kinda boring and not aloud to have dogs of leash but over all not bad.

Nice flat trail you can do a short walk or a long one depending on your mood.
It's out and back easy to navigate with nice views

Easy trail in the city. Please respect it’s an on leash trail.

Comes close to the highway which ruins the quietness of an otherwise pleasant walk.

A great well marked trail. Not as spectacular as other trails but still a solid 2.5 to 3 hour hike.

A short and relatively easy trail, great for an evening walk with the dogs. One of my favorite local trails. I grew up in the area and one of my favorite memories as a child was my grandmother bringing me here for walks around the trail and picnics by the pond.

Moderate trail. Fairly rocky underfoot but pleasant and nicely shaded.

Walking, running, biking, It is hands down the best trail in all of Halifax. Beautiful scenery, friendly people, and nature. Amazing!

Wouldnt really call it a "hike", but lovely walk along the lake and then up into the woods. Adding on the Old Stage Coach rd will add some mileage onto your walk in you want it. Two areas come to mind where it is extreme up hill and downhill with large crumbled rock/gravel. Still fairly easy to manage.
This will take you apprx 1hr(if I recall) to do the full loop.
Road into parking area, extremely rough... don't bring a low profile vehicle. Need gravel to clean severe pot holes.

A great hike out to the lake. Great spot to take a picnic and spend some time by the lake.

Didn't manage to get for because of snow but will definitely go back
